Marinette came out of her room looking stunning. Adrien gawked and tried to take in her beauty. "What?" Marinette asked, "Cat got your tongue?" She inquired.

"N-no that's not it at all, you look gorgeous Marinette." He said, struggling to force the words out of his mouth. "Here I got this for you, I hope you like it." He held out the corsage and put it on her wrist. "Oh Adrien, it's beautiful! Thank you so much." She said, smiling. "Shall we go?" Adrien said after a long silence. He offered her his hand. Marinette smirked at him. "We shall." She took his hand and planted a small kiss on his cheek. Adrien frozed, blushing. "Come on Adrien, we don't wanna be late." She said pulling at his hand.

Nathalie and the gorilla were waiting at the door. They walked outside and Adrien felt the warm sunlight on his face. He felt Marinette's hand in his. His father was happy. He couldn't help but think this was how it should always be.

Adrien opened the car door for Marinette then got in himself, buckling his seatbelt.

The car ride was mostly quiet. Adrien couldn't help but take a few peaks at the beautiful woman just beside him. He hoped he could grow a pair and ask her out on an official non-father-forced date. He just needed the right moment.

After what seemed like an eternity, they arrived at their destination. Adrien helped Marinette out of the car and then offered her his elbow. She chucked and intertwined their arms.

The gorilla opened one of the double doors leading into the restaurant and retreated back to his car, then drove off into the distance.

Adrien saw Marinette shifting around a lot. "Are you ok?" He said with a warm smile. "Oh, yes. I just-I guess I'm not used to wearing such fancy clothes and going to such fancy places-"

Adrien could only smile at her. How dare she be so amazing? The way the light hit her face-he took her hand. "Don't worry, they're just like us. They're people too." She looked down and squeezed his hand. "Thanks." She looked up and gave him the most bright smile as a blush appeared on her cheeks.

Meanwhile, at the Agreste residence:

"What is this?!" Gabriel said as he held up an article of clothing. "Sir, it's, I, I made it best I could-" said the young girl standing at the bottom of the tall staircase. "Just because you're new here does not give you an excuse to slack off! Go remake this immediately." Gabriel said, merely tossing the garment she spent hours making to the side. "Um, yes sir." She said, heading for the door. "Oh, and Caroline," Gabriel said, "If you present me with something of that horrible quality so much as one more time, consider yourself ruined."

"Of course, sir-" She said. Once she was outside, tears began streaming down her Carmel skin. The droplets began soaking into the purple cloth of her leggings. She always wore bright colors, they made her happiest. Suddenly, she lifted her face to reveal the outline of a butterfly.

"Seamstress, I am hawkmoth. Your hard work goes under appreciated no matter how hard you try. With your newfound power, you can show them all how capable you really are."

Caroline stood up. "They'll all pay for their arrogance."

Adrien gazed at Marinette. He imagines tucking the stray hair behind her ear and telling her that he loved her.
Then they would kiss, and get married. They'd live on an island and eat nothing but fruit. They'd have three kids and a cat! No, forget the cat! A hamster.

A crash awoke Adrien from his daydream.

"Really? Now? Can't a cat get a day off?"

"Marinette! We have to get somewhere safe!" He looked up, and was surprised to see no fear in her eyes, more like- determination? He recognized that look, there was just something about it that reminded him of-

"Adrien! Cmon!" Marinette said, grabbing his arm and pulling him away from his thoughts.

She put him in a supply closet, and just as she was about run off he grabbed her. "Marinette, what are you doing?"
"Think think think..." she tried to come up with an excuse. "I uh-I'm gonna go see if it's a real akuma attak?" Is all she could come up with before she ran off.

Plagg, claws out!

Tikki, spots on!

Ladybug and Chat Noir arrived on the scene. The super villain, clothes in black stylish clothing from head to toe. She used a giant sewing needle to blast rays of what appeared to be some kind of dark matter. It destroyed everything it care in contact with, and made people become uncoordinated until called upon by seamstress, in which case they became her minions. Ladybug assumed the clumsiness prevented them from getting away.

"Now they'll see my true talent! Once everyone can barely move without falling, they'll appreciate my tedious handiwork!" She shouted to no one in particular.

"Chat, we have to stop her without giving her the chance to strike us. Or else it will be reverser all over again! Which means we need to have a plan..."

Chat nodded. "Where do you think the akuma is?" Ladybug scanned the villain. "I don't know, nothing really stands out besides the needle, but I'm not sure that's it."

"Now you'll all see me! Seamstros, rise!" Everyone who was struggling to stand or to not fall over suddenly had perfect balance, even walking on thin curbs or brick walls. Their eyes became all black.

"Mr. Agreste will pay for what he's done! But first, let's give him a good scare! Find Adrien Agreste!"

Chat's heart sank. "She's going after my father? Good thing she's not gonna find me, wait, oh crap-"

"They're going after Adrien!" Ladybug shrieked. "We have to find him! I think I saw him go into the restaurant across the street!"

"What the? What she following me?" Adrien thought. Either way, Adrien was gonna have a heard time getting out of this one. And once again, he had his father to thank.
