A/N: so right before we begin, I would just like to point out that I had to repost my last chapter due to the fact that it deleted half of my writing, which meant that I had to write it again. but now I have completed it and if you haven't read the last part, you're going to be confused on where a-bouts we are in the episode. thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy this chapter.

YOU promptly jumped on the dragon, Kai and Nya doing the same. You turned around and smiled at the two in a comforting manner, when all of a sudden, a voice called out from the entrance. "Y/N! Kai! Is anyone there?" Cole's voice echoed off of the walls of the large cave. He was then joined by another more monotone voice, "The sword of fire was here as well as our friends, but I only sense loss. We are too late. The elemental weapons have left this realm and are now in the underworld. The end is drawing near." Zane explained, sadness lacing his tone. Cole sighed, "Great. The one place no mortal can cross over."

You smiled brightly at the familiar voices, Kai and Nya's face reflecting yours - pure relief. "We may not be able to cross over," Kai stated confidently, and the building walls began opening steadily. The creaking of the towering panels splitting filled the night's ominous silence. A blinding mass of fog came pouring out of the vast structure, revealing you, Kai and Nya sitting calmly on-top of the dragon. "But a dragon can!" Kai finished, the other three staring at you in shock. The dragon roared fiercely, causing Cole to scream and jump away in fright, his cheeks becoming bright red with embarrassment. "Our father used to tell us stories about the dragons, how they were mystical creatures that belonged to both worlds and ferried between them." She said, and Kai jumped off of the dragon, before holding out his hand for you. "What a gentleman," you said sarcastically, before leaping off of the dragon yourself. Kai gave you a small pout, causing you to giggle.

"Are you insane?" Cole screeched at Nya. "Well, once he realised that we were trying to protect the sword of fire, he actually became quite a softy. Haha, knock it off." Kai laughed, playfully knocking the dragon away from him. You and Nya giggled at their childishness, and Jay choked and wheezed from his place next to the door. "He cannot talk, but he would like to know if you like blue?" Zane interjected, his question directed toward Nya. "It's my favourite colour!" She replied kindly, and Jay smiled contently in response. Nya then jumped down next to you, and gave you a bright grin. "Thanks for saving me Nya, I really appreciate what you did back there." You thanked her. She shrugged, "Eh, it was the least I could do." She replied, placing a hand on her hip. "I have a feeling that we're going to get on just fine." You smirked, and she returned the gesture. "Nya?" Kai asked, interrupting the small talk between the two.

"This is goodbye, isn't it?" She asked sadly, already knowing the answer. You and Kai nodded sadly, and Nya tried her best to put on a smile, "Just come back to me in one piece, okay?" She said, lightening the gloomy mood. "I don't want to have to run the store on my own." She continued. "I promise that I won't be gone long." Kai replied, grabbing your hand and leaping onto the dragon. Jay and Zane then ran toward the dragon, before flipping onto its back. "I'll keep a candle lit outside our shop until you return."

You all then turned expectantly to Cole, and his voice cracked in nervousness, "Uh, you guys go on ahead, there's not enough room for us on that thing." He croaked from behind the door. The dragon snarled at his poor choice of words, but you instantly stroked his head, calming him down. "You're right Cole, but I got a way to fix that." Kai said, a mischievous tone in his voice.

YOU were now soaring through the air on Kai's dragon, holding tightly to his waist as your hair blew in the wind. Cole was holding onto the chair pole as tight as possible, screaming whenever there was a sharp turn. The strong wind brushed your fingers as you held your arms out, whooping from the sensation. You look down at Kai, seeing him staring at you admirably. "What is it?" You asked, and his gaze shot forward, "N-nothing." He said suspiciously. You shrugged it off, looking back at the others. "So how do the dragons cross over to the underworld?" Cole yelled through the deafening breeze. "I think we're about to find out!" You all screamed as you plunged vertically towards the ground. Your grip on Kai's waist grew even tighter, as you tried to stop yourself from screaming.
