season 1, episode 3, part 1.

YOU looked around curiously, your eyes not registering your surroundings. "Where am I?" you asked to yourself, your voice sounding more strained than usual. You were standing in the middle of what you assumed to be a woodland, looking around at the millions of trees scattered around you. Walking up to one of the trees, you hesitantly placed your hand on it's bark, questioning whether this was just another dream.

As soon as you placed your fingers on the wood, it began turning to ashes, getting dragged away into the strong wind.

You felt your face go a pale white as you jumped back in surprise. "What the hell?" you asked to no-one. All you could hear was the cheerful chirping of the birds as they sung, flying through the sky freely. God how you wish you could do that. You turned away, looking down at the ground and noticing something sparkling underneath one of the leaves. Removing the leaf, you discarded it, looking closer at the strange glistening object. It appeared to be a necklace, built with beautiful sparkly pearls. Looking into the middle, you finally noticed the large purple crystal hanging at the bottom.

You breathed out harshly, admiring the gorgeous violet gem. You felt drawn to it, attached immediately. And that was when you read the message inside the middle of the heart. It read, 'For Y/N, the apple of my eye.' The message was engraved into the lavender-coloured gem, just about clear enough for you to read. Your eyes searched the necklace for a name, a face, anything that could tell her who this came from, And that's when it hit her, "My father," you gasped shakily.

It was at that moment that you reached out, trying to touch the ornament, but jerking back when you felt it scold your skin. At that moment, you could feel the power screaming to be let out, as it crawled inside your veins and into your heart. You cried out, cradling your burnt hand in your other. It was then that you decided, this necklace is cursed.

YOU jumped up, instantly grabbing your hand. You still felt the searing pain in your right hand from where you had attempted to grasp the object. Lifting your arm, you examined your had closely, looking for any burn marks, but there were none. There was not a single trace of a burn. You shook your head, trying to distract yourself. 'Nya' you thought as you looked over to where she was sleeping. After moving into a new home, you had decided it was much more cramped than the monastery. There were only 3 bedrooms, meaning the boys had to sleep in one, whilst you and Nya slept in the other and Sensei had his own room. You were grateful that you got to stay with Nya, to say the least.

She was an incredibly kind girl, and you had already told her about what had been happening in your visions, so you could at least open up to her. Plus, you two hadn't really spoken other than in Jamanakai village, despite you two being the only girls. Anyway, it felt good to have her as a roommate.

You looked over to her bed that was on the other side of the room, noticing that she was still sleeping. Looking at the clock, you realised that it was about time to get up. And that's when you heard Sensei storming through the house with his gongs. "Evil doesn't sleep, and neither should you!" He yelled, his voice sounding slightly muffled due to the walls. Nya then suddenly propped herself up, yawing and stretching. "Someone needs to confiscate that thing," she said, shaking her head. "You'll get used to it, trust me." you groaned, slipping out of your bed and towards the bathroom. It was a large wooden door as an entrance, that was covered in strange marks. The inside was worse, the shower was barely working and there was mould in the corner of the ceiling.

You picked up your toothbrush, snickering as you heard the boys protests from the other side of the wall. You tried to brush your teeth, but only dust came out on the sink. You sighed and looked in the mirror, finally noticing the large amount of dust that was sitting upon it.
