What the f*ck. I open the door to a busted lip Jelani. I let him in and closed the door. I walked towards the cabinets and grabbed some paper towels to give to him. I just sat on the sofa staring at the tv, not necessarily watching it, but staring at it. Although I didn't say anything, I felt Jelani's eyes on me.
After a long moment of silence, Jelani was the first to talk. "I'm sorry I didn't show up" he started. Then he started explaining how he got into a fight with this guy over a disagreement.
I'm so over it.
I nodded my head, still looking at the tv.
He moved closer to me, gave me a hug, and apologized once more again. I nodded.
He sighs loudly. "I don't know why I'm apologizing anyways, you not my b*tch and you are irrelevant" he said walking out.
I just sat there. I don't have the patience to argue with him, so I kept my calm. Now that he's gone, I can finish my ice cream and movie.

"You're finally up, Lis" aunt Ky said. Teyvon looked up from his phone. "What the f*ck are you doing here" I mouthed. He smirked. "Well aunt Ky, thank you for your time, are you ready to go Alyssa?" Now I'm confused.
