Octavia's pov
This was real, it was so real and it was completely thrilling. You know those really cliche movies, the kisses in the rain or the ending in the airport, kinds of movies. Those moments couldn't compare to this one.
My own perfect moment.
Ryder had a hand on either side of my head as he kissed me with so much passion behind it, like he had been waiting for this. I kissed back all the same, his hand sliding down my back to bring me closer to him. My hands clutched at his shirt tightly, the kiss lasted a couple seconds longer before he let go.
Our heads connected and all that was heard was us trying to steady our breathing. My eyes were closed, even though I wasn't the soberest; I knew I would remember this tomorrow, and forever. My heart couldn't stop pounding in my chest and I was so jittery right now.
"Octavia." Ryder's voice broke my thoughts softly, he was no doubt looking at me.
"Yes?" I said short of breath, I have such mixed emotions at the moment.
"Open your eyes for me love." he asked softly rubbing my chin and I did.
When our eyes connected he smiled. It made my heart almost pop out of my chest, but nonetheless made me smile as well and clutch his shirt tighter.
"You're so beautiful." he whispered against my lips before pecking them a couple times softly.
I'm pretty sure my face was like a tomato now, as it always is. My head was spinning from everything. Ryder, the kiss, the thoughts I have, Liam, this party, my house.
"My house!" I thought out loud again and was about to turn around before he stopped me while chuckling lightly.
"That's what your thinking about during our moment princess?" he asked amused and held my hands in his.
I laughed and blushed some more, "No I just-"
Then I heard a loud crash and people yelling then the music got louder. Shit I'm so dead, where was Jeremy during all this?
"That's what I'm talking about I have to go." I turned around successfully but, only for a second until his hand caught my wrist and I looked at him.
"I'm coming with you." he said sternly.
"What, why, no-" he cut me off by kissing me.
"I said, I'm coming with you I don't want anymore guys looking at you tonight." he said, looking me over from head to toe, biting his lip holding a stern look in his eye.
"Ryder I don't think-"
"Octavia you need help, this party got way out of hand, admit it you want me to come don't you?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
I couldn't help it but he was right. Jake would be of no help to shut it down neither will Jeremy and I couldn't be near Liam without feeling guilty because of Ryder. Leaving me with Maya and Jacob who, they were probably making out in a closet somewhere.
"Yes fine, but you have to help me clean up." I said giving in and taking his hand to lead him back inside.
As we stood by the door he whispered in my ear, "You look stunning in this dress by the way." I mumbled a shy thank you and opened the door having Ryder stay glued to my backside.
I walked ahead a little fast causing him to grab my hand, "We need to find Jeremy." I said loudly to him over the music.
Someone handed me a Jell-O shot, which was just liquor but, with jello mixed, we never made these?
