Ryder's pov

I was so nervous standing here in front of her, I couldn't even deny it one bit. Especially when I got caught off guard by how she didn't say anything with me, I didn't care though. She didn't know it right now but, I was completely under her spell she seemed to have on me right now.

"Say something." I said searching her eyes for any kind of answer.

"Not until I tell you something." she said looking me in my now worried eyes.

What could she possibly have to tell me before she answers the most important question?

"I know." she said with a serious tone looking me in my eyes.

She knows, what does that even mean. Could she be speaking about the gang? No she can't be, I was probably just overthinking this.

"You know what?" I said furrowing my eyebrows together playing like I was confused.

I looked at her and she looked at our joined hands then gestured for me to sit next to her. I did this as she gave me a very lovingly look. God she was beautiful it made my nerves calm down, she always had that effect on me.

"I know your the leader of a gang." as those words slipped softly from her mouth my nerves picked up again.

Was she going to leave me? fuck, what was I thinking of course she was.

"Octavia listen I-" I say starting to explain myself until she cut me off.

I felt her quickly tighten her hold on my hands slightly, "It's okay." I heard her say softly as she continued with her gaze on our hands.

"I was right you know." she paused as I grew confused, "Nothing in the world could change the way that I feel about you." her soft brown eyes then connected with mine.

My nerves were long gone now and all I wanted to do was kiss her. I quickly pulled her forward by her chin kissing her lightly but, deeply. The kiss was short before we broke apart smiling.

"So is that a yes to my question?" I said with a grin.

"Yeah it is." she said smiling with a light blush to her cheeks.

"Yeah?" I repeated giving out a chuckle as I leant forward to give her yet another kiss.

"Yeah." she stated firmly with her own light laugh before she closed the gap between us kissing me back.

"Are you serious that's so gross." she said as her nose scrunched up in a cute way and she laughed.

"Yes I'm serious." I said with a chuckle.

After the greatest moment to happen in my life I snuck Octavia out with me to go get ice cream. I just told her what Carter, my best friends favorite flavor is, bacon chocolate.

"How could they even make an ice cream like that." she said shaking her head as she took another bite from her plain chocolate ice cream.

She looked so beautiful it was perfect, she was perfect.

"What....do I have ice cream on me?" she asked as she caught me staring.

This made me smile and lean forward, swiping my thumb over her bottom lip softly. I could tell it affected her a lot.

"Just right here love." I said while leaning in to kiss her, she smiled.

Then surprisingly kissed me first in which I instantly reacted, pulling her closer.

I wanted this to be my life with her forever.

Suddenly someone cleared there throat awkwardly, breaking us apart. It was Liam and Jeremy, just great. I hadn't even heard the bell to the ice cream shop go off when they came in.

"You know moms been texting you Octavia." Jeremey says looking at his sister sternly.

"My phone died like an hour ago." she replied back, "Hows your face?" she asked with a smile while biting her lip.

That's when I noticed Jeremy's cheek was red and a shade of color was coming in.

"It's fine how's your head." her brother glared this made me automatically look at her.

I didn't like what I seen, it was just my protective instinct over her. Octavia had a slight bruise on her forehead I hadn't notice earlier, it looked fresh.

"Fine, thanks you jerk." she said still smiling and throwing some nearby straws at her brother.

Jeremy only laughed and looked to me, "Hey." he said as if acknowledging me which felt good, oddly. As for for Liam we only shared a glance.

I said hey back to Jeremy but, was more focused on Liam and Octavia.

"Hi Liam where have you been hiding?" she said laughing lightly.

"A couple streets down you know the place." he said chuckling which earned a punch in the arm by her brother who also glared at him.

I gripped her waist tighter hearing that, at this I felt her lean more into me. This made me calm down only a little.

"Anyways what are you guys doing here?" Octavia asked.

"We're here to pick out a cake for Casy's birthday tomorrow remember?" Jeremy said seeming happy about it. I remembered her from the party, she was his girlfriend.

"Duh you told me this morning." she said with that sarcasm that I admit is growing on me.

"Your still coming to the party right?" he asked expectantly.

I instantly tensed at hearing that.

"Yeah I heard everyone's coming." Liam said, I swear he said it on purpose.

Either way I was mad, one of my fists were already clenched.

"Um yeah I said I was already coming, Casy is great I'll be there." she said seeming to feel how mad I was.

They nodded and left right after Octavia told Jeremey to let her mom know where she was. I guess her mom really approved of me that made me feel worthy.

"It's just a party for his girlfriend I wasn't going to stay long." she said turning to look at me.

I suddenly wasn't mad anymore as I looked at her worried face. I didn't like that she felt she needed to explain herself to me.

I sighed cupping her face in my hands, an action I know she loved.

"You don't have to explain yourself to me love, if you want to go to the party you can it's completely up to you." I said genuinely, well almost.

On one part I was mad that she was going to a party but, on the other part I know it's her decision.

That pearly white grin of hers broke through and said, "What if you come with me." she said happily like it was the best idea in the world.

Could this girl get me to fall for her anymore?
