"No, we had a test? I didn't even do the homework." I whisper loudly back at Aria.
"Jesus christ Ari, we need to learn how to do math." I say putting my hand over my head and laughing.
"Amen."
"Also theirs a party tonight, and we're going." She says.
"Fine. But your buying me lunch." I say tapping my pencil.
"Whatever."
+ 4:15pm - the mason household
"Nick! We have a project to do! You cannot keep making laugh." I say, laughing as Nick and I sit on my bed.
"I'm sorry but why do feet smell and noses run!" He says and I laugh hysterically, hitting his arm.
"Allisonn!" I hear a familiar voice say coming up the steps.
"Dan, hey." I say and smile seeing the boy.
His eyes go to Nick and then back to me.
Oh not this again.
"Uh, i'm gonna get going." Nick says getting up, collecting his books.
"Yeah, but hey i'll see you on monday." I say getting up and he embraces me in a hug, his hands going to my waist.
"Seeya then." He says and smiles before heading away.
He smiles at Dan but his face stays straight.
"You wanna grab some food?" I ask putting away my books, smiling at the boy.
"What the hell was that?" He says coming over.
"Nick? He's my best friend, i've told you this." I say.
"Didn't look like friends, he got a little touchy there." He says smirking.
"We're friends." I say.
"Mmhm." He says.
"He's my friend!" I yell.
"I think he wants to be a little more."
