A/N: Sorry for my absence, things got wild, and I didn't have really any motivation to update any of my stories. But...I'm back now! :)

*** Gerald's POV ***

Rachel was up and down all night throwing up in the bathroom, and she finally settled down around 3 this morning. It was a little after noon, and she was still asleep.

Because she was probably exhausted, I got up with Rosie when she started whimpering into the baby monitor around 8. I fed her, bathed her and put her into one of her Halloween onesies since Halloween was just around the corner.

"It's just you and me for now, baby girl," I cooed as I kissed her head while walking over to the couch with her. "Mommy doesn't feel very good."

Slowly, I bent down and laid her down on her back on the floor. Recently, we got her a playmat that had an attachment with a stuffed owl, teddy bear and a caterpillar hanging from it, and she loves it. She'd spend all day down there if we let her.

"What should I watch?" I chuckled to myself knowing Rosie couldn't answer me. "Your mommy's sleeping, so I don't have to watch Secret Life of Pets or Marvel. I don't know what to watch."

I opened up Hulu and eventually decided on Full House since I couldn't think of anything else to watch. Once I started the show, I laid down on the couch and pulled the blanket over myself, occasionally glancing down at Rosie when I heard the toy jingling.

About 15 minutes into the episode I was watching, I heard Rosie grunting and immediately sprang up.

"What's wrong, baby!?" I called when I saw she was halfway onto her side with her arms stretched out. "Do you need help?!"

When I made my way off the couch, she was already on her tummy with her arms outstretched like she was Superman. It made me chuckle.

"Wait, you didn't need...holy shit, you rolled over!" I cheered as I laid in front of her, watching her smile her toothless grin at me. "Rosie, you rolled over by yourself! You're a big girl!"

Rosie cooed and stretched out her hands as she slowly rolled back over onto her back. She outstretched her legs and kicked them.

I quickly sat up on my knees and pulled out my phone to take a picture before scooping her up into my arms.

"Let's go tell mommy," I chuckled as I stood up and walked down the hallway. "We gotta do it carefully or she might kill daddy."

Slowly, I opened the door to our bedroom and tiptoed in, holding Rosie against my chest with my arm across her abdomen. She was chewing on her fist and drool was getting everywhere.

"Rachel," I whispered as I sat down on the bed. "Rach, wake up," I said as I moved her hair out of her face.

"Hmmm," she groaned as she turned her head and buried it in the pillow. "What? What time is it?"

"It's like 12:30. I let you sleep because you were sick all night," I said as she rolled onto her side and pulled the blanket to her chest. "Guess what this big girl did."

She reached out for her, and I laid her down in her arms before leaning down and kissing her head.

"She rolled over all by herself!" I grinned as Rachel smiled down at her. "I thought she was needing my help at first because she was making noises, but when I looked at her, she was on her belly."

"Oh, I missed it," She frowned as she tapped her fingers on Rosie's tummy, making her giggle. "You're getting so big! Look at you in your black cat onesie, are you ready for Halloween?"

"Rowan's party is next week," I reminded her as I yawned while stretching my arms over my head. "What is she going to be?"

Rachel sat up in bed and leaned against the wall while holding Rosie on her chest. She yawned after I did while running a hand through her messy hair - and man, did she look so sexy.

"Spider-Man," she said with a laugh as I rolled my eyes. "What? I love Tom Holland."

"Did Tom Holland give you a baby?" I quizzed. "And a house?"

"No," she giggled. "But he coooould."

I chuckled and pushed her legs, watching her laugh and pull them upwards.

"She's not gonna be Spider-Man," I said as I moved to lay beside her. "I think she should be a bunny."

"A puppy!" Rachel pouted as she rubbed Rosie's back. "We could all be puppies!"

"Rach," I chuckled as I propped my head up on my hand. "Puppies?"

She pouted and looked over at me.

"Why not?" She asked. "It'd be cute!"

"Okay," I sighed as I gave in to her pout and kissed her head. "We'll go as puppies. Are you going to be feeling up to it, though?"

"I hope so," She said as she looked down at Rosie, who was starting to drift off to sleep. "I've been getting sick every day, and certain smells give me migraines."

My lips pursed as I looked at her, and I was afraid to say the next sentence.

"Are you pregnant?" I asked softly as her head turned quickly. "I mean, you kinda felt like that when you were pregnant with Rosie."

"Oh, I hope not," she laughed nervously. "Rosie's just a couple months old. We'd have two under two. That would be so much to handle."

"Talk about a full house," I laughed as I moved to put Rosie in her bassinet so we could lay down. "She's knocked again."

Rachel got cozy under the covers after I laid down again. She cuddled up next to me and looked at me with a frown.

"I hope I'm not pregnant," She sighed. "We don't need another baby right now."

"No," I said in agreement. "But we'll handle it, you know."

I hoped Rachel wasn't pregnant because she was right, Rosie was just a couple months old, but I knew that I wasn't going to leave her like I did when I found out she was pregnant with Rosie. When I married her, I promised I wouldn't leave her. Not when our family needs me the most.
