Leo and Calypso didn't need to ride Festus to the nearest clothing store. They were everywhere.

Leo didn't have much money, so he went to a store he often went to in Texas, this place had some of the lowest prices in clothes.

He left Calypso with the shop lady who was showing her shirts and he went to the bathroom to wash his face off.

Leo missed the Argo II bathrooms. Back on the Argo, the bathrooms weren't nice, but at least you knew who was using them. In public bathrooms...those places creeped Leo out.

Strangers were using them, people you didn't know, and that freaked Leo out.

No one was in the bathrooms, which was fine with Leo. He went to the white marble sink and turned on the water.

The water felt cold as it ran down his sooty hands. He scooped it up and put it to his face. The water returned to the bowl of the sink, the water was black.

Leo looked in the mirror. His face was still covered in grime, but he did look a little cleaner.

Leo reached for the paper towels when the toilet flushed in a stall behind him.

Leo whipped around. He didn't see anyone come in, and he didn't see anyone when he got in the bathroom.

Leo rushed into a stall and locked the door, just as another stall bursted open.

He heard footsteps and then a sink turning on.

Leo quietly sighed with relief. It was just a normal person, he must not of seen him when he came in. But of course, he was wrong.

The sink turned off. And Leo heard the ripping of paper towels. He heard the door creak open, but didn't hear it close.

He looked through the crack of the stall and saw a man, with black hair and beetle black eyes, stare right at him.

"I smell demigod," the man said, his voice as rough as sandpaper. "Leo Valdez I can sense your presence."
