stuck [choi yeonjun]

Realising that I have accidentally linked my arm with Soobin's, I try to take my arm back but he tightens it instead. So, I let it be like this and don't bother much.

Although it's a mere skinship, I feel my cheeks growing warm and the fact that he hears my mind never sits right with me so I try to occupy my thoughts on randomness or maybe emptiness.

We walked together to the living hall and see the rest of the boys except Yeonjun already sitting  on each couches, their faces sinking into exhaustion.

I look at four of them. Judging by their looks, it feels like today is going to be a long day.

Where's that devil or whatever?

"Yeonjun is sleep-" I stop Beomgyu hurrily, "Okay, he is sleeping.  I got it. But have I vocalised the words out? No. I know you guys can read minds or whatever...and it's really weird for me. Don't make it too obvious, please."

Gosh why is my mood getting like this.

They all simply nod, not dragging this topic anymore. Soobin sits on a sofa, making me sit beside him since our arms are still  wrapped.

"Let go." I whisper only for him to hear but he shakes his head as a no before whispering back, "Be clingy."

Taehyun fakes a cough, dragging all the attention, "Sora, don't you have questions to ask?"

"Yeah...Are you guys human- No, what are you all?" I ask, acting all bold and stoic but inside I'm too nervous.

"We are not human." Kai answers blankly.

And I can't but roll my eyes,

"Lemme ask again correctly. So what are y'all?" I question again, fidgeting with my fingers unknowingly.

All four of them chuckle and Kai answered again with blank eyes, "Lemme answer again correctly. So we are not human."

Soobin meet my gaze and sees the discomfort that crosses my features as he says, more like declares,
"We are vampires."

I choke on the air after hearing it and almost shout, "You are WHAT?"

"We are vampires." Kai, Beom and Taehyun say in unison.

Seriously? They are vampires? Why aren't they sucking my blood to death yet? They must be kidding  me but their deadly stares on me don't say so.

"Well....a vampire kissed a human being instead of guzzling down all the blood and the rest of the vampires are talking to the human being very politely...Maybe it makes sense." I blurt in confusion.

Others eye at Taehyun as he groans, "Why me?"

Must be some telepathy shits. Beomgyu pleads, "Please Taehyun, you are the only one who carries at least a braincell." Soobin nods to flatter him more. Taehyun groans again as he is convinced by now.
