"Roll that up." Pharoah passed another backwood back to Kojo as we sat in the backseat of his smoke filled truck.

All of my brothers were back in Compton and the truck was packed with them and two of their friends for a hotbox session. I didn't smoke but I refused to leave Kojo's side so I was here too, squished in the middle.

Though Smoke said he had his back if anything went down, I didn't trust the others at all. Especially after what they did to Reap. I was terrified to leave Kojo alone with them. Though I was probably making what we had going on obvious.

"P, go in the house." Pharoah told me as he lit another blunt in the driver's seat. They had at least 6 blunts in rotation right now.

"Yo, don't start your shit, Pha. She's chilling. Leave her alone." Smoke spoke up for me.

"It's all niggas in here, fuck she in here for?" He asked, taking a hit of the blunt that he had in his hand before putting another one behind his ear.

Ko looked at me out of the corner of his eye as he rolled up the 8th blunt.

"I can be in here." I rolled my eyes, speaking up for myself.

"Don't blow my high right now. Real shit, P." Kannon ended up saying.

"Ain't shit in here for you, just go in the house." He went on.

I looked at Kojo before he licked his lips, burning the now rolled blunt. I knew he wanted to say something but he was keeping quiet for the sake of everything.

"Just go ahead baby before I get mad." He mumbled to me so that no one could hear and I couldn't help but to smile.

"Come on, P." Smoke spoke once he realized that me being here was only going to cause conflict that none of us wanted.

He didn't smoke anyway so there was no reason for him to be in here either, other than to look out for Ko.

"Some stuff we need to talk about anyway." He spoke getting out of the car as I followed close behind him.

As we made our way into the house, our clothes reeked of the weed smell.

"Can't stand that shit." Smoke complained while fanning the air, making me laugh as we walked into the living room.

"You good though?" He asked as we sat on the couch and I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I shrugged.

"I missed you." He expressed.

"I missed you too. What's been going on? Are the cops looking for them or..?" I asked and he sighed.

"I don't even know. The news is saying that some other niggas were taken in for questioning. I tried to talk Pha into turning himself in but he wasn't tryna hear it. Them niggas just crazy."

"I know. I can't believe they.."

"Killed him." I spoke barely above a whisper while he shook his head.
