"Ano bang magandang panoorin?" I asked Dylan.

I was lying prone on the bed while scrolling down the movies from Devon's flash drive. I borrowed it from her before the Christmas vacation started.

"Whatever you want. I'm gonna sleep." He lay down and closed his eyes. Probably, he was lack of sleep because he woke up early.

I just curled my lips and shut down my laptop. I never liked watching movies alone. I moved over him and then hugged him like a baby who wants to sleep with her momma. I closed my eyes until I fell asleep.

I jumped off the bed and went out of my room to look for Dylan. He couldn't see me because he wasn't facing my direction.

"I'm good . . . How about you?" I listened to him. "Cool . . . I'm with Demi . . . I'll be celebrating Christmas with her . . . Yeah . . . Aren't you coming home to the country? . . . No, I mean I just wanna know because I'm gonna give you the book that I was talking about . . . I'm cool with it . . . Next year? . . . Okay . . . Thanks . . . Good bye." He ended the call and then faced me, and he was surprised. "Hey," he greeted me and walked towards me.

"Who was it?" I asked.

"It was Kyline."

Natahimik ako dahil hanggang ngayon nagkakausap pa pala sila.

"Does she know about us?" I asked.

"I told her."

"Wasn't she mad?"

"I explained it to her. She understands."

I just nodded my head and headed the refrigerator. Naramdaman ko ang pagsunod niya sa akin. When I opened the refrigerator, I found nothing there. It wasn't even connected to the electricity.

"Are you hungry?" I heard him ask me.

We walked into the house and went straight to the kitchen. I watched him washing the fresh meat on the sink. I realized that I needed to help him so I got the saucepan of the rice cooker.

"Saan ang rice ninyo?" I asked him.

He pointed a finger on the cabinet. When I opened it, I saw a one sack of rice there. I steamed a rice. After that, I just waited for Dylan to be done. I guessed he was cooking an Adobo.

"This is the fastest to cook," aniya nang ilapag niya ang malaking bowl na naglalaman ng Adobong Manok.

"It's okay," sabi ko bago sumandok ng kanin at ulam. Tinikman ko nag ulam. It tasted good.

We ate together. I glanced at him. He was eating while staring at me. I cocked my brow at him.

"What if I talk to your parents?" he said.
