"Uh... Sorry my bad. I should've said you almost found me." the voice spoke again.

I whip my head around again but again meet with nothing but disappointment. Whose voice was this?

"Who are you?" I call out loudly. It was eerily quite as I could only hear the echo of my own voice which sent shivers down my spine.

"I thought Taehyun has already introduced me to you." the voice spoke calmly with a hint of jovial attitude laced to his voice.

My eyes widen slightly as realisation hit me. Is he... "Soobin?" my voice shook when I called out his name.

I hear him chuckle softly before clapping his hands. "Bingo!" he exclaims with joy. "Why don't you take a seat? You look scared. Don't worry, I won't eat you." he jokes, and I swear I could hear his voice all around me. Where the heck was he??

"Why don't you show yourself to me?" I question, still standing rooted to my spot.

"Well because I can't. Isn't it obvious?" he retorts back making my shoulders stiffen.

"Why can't you?" I was getting so annoyed by now. Is this some kind of a filthy joke or a stupid prank? Because I was certainly not liking it at all.

He sighs and murmers dismissively. "Why don't you sit down first?"

I clench my fists and feel my jaws tighten as I take in a sharp breath and seated myself on Yeonjun's bed. "There. Now tell me why can't I see you? If you're real, then why are you invisible? Or is my mind playing games on me–" I was thinking out loud when he cuts me off.

"Nope. I am real and you are totally sane." he continues. "And you can't see me completely, because you don't want to."

I scrunch my brows in confusion. What does he mean??

"I do want to." I reply back.

"No you don't." he shots back at me. At this point I was bickering with a voice.

"How do you know!?" I felt my head throbbing against my fingers. I was starting to feel a migraine.

"Because you can't see me!" he says like its a matter of a fact and I visualise if he was standing in front of me then he'd be throwing his hands up in the air in frustration.

I try to calm myself down and take a deep breath before speaking again, "Then how can I see you?"

"By wanting to see me." he replies back, going back to his calmness again as if explaining a child a problem of division and multiplication.
"I do want to see you!" I said trying not to sound frustrated but almost failing in the process.

There was a moment of silence followed by several minutes, it was going to be close to thirty minutes now. Great. He left. "Ughh!!" I let out a cry of anguish and frustration holding my head and crashing down on the bed and clutching my eyes close.

I sighed as I plopped myself on the bed and held my head in my hands. I thought back to the time when they were present. During situations like this, when I used to get over stressed, Kai always used to cheer me up with a little assistance of Beomgyu hooting from behind. Ah... How I wished to see them again. Only if they were here...
I still remember the day our unit test examination papers had come out. I had done terrible in my psychology exam and I was freaking out about it. I had gotten below average marks and I was more upset because even the failures of the class scored better than me. Not that I was the worse, Kai was always behind me and Yeonjun always stood beside me, er, in terms of marks. But it was not helpful at all. I was so scared to face my parents. What would they say? And the teachers always made it worse!

I wasn't even being myself that day. It was hot and my head was throbbing. I was hardly even speaking.

"Hyun Ae you listening?" Yeonjun's slightly loud voice brought me back to reality as I straightened up and snapped my head at his direction. "Y-Yeah?"

He sighed as he kept a hand on my shoulder. "Still worried about psycho?" he asked worriedly.

I shrugged letting out a sarcastic chuckle, feeling sympathy for my own self. "Yeah... Psycho's driving me psycho..." I managed to say as the boys snickered at my comment.

"Yah!" Kai slung an arm around me and drew me nearer to him. "Stop worrying so much! You'll do good next time! This subject was new to us this year anyway!" he said with a cheerful smile.

"He's right. Don't sweat over it so much." Beomgyu said tossing a grape into his mouth.

"How are you guys so chill about it?" I asked.

Both of them looked at each other with a knowing smile and looked back at me. I was so confused. "What?" I blurted out awkwardly.

"Repeat this mantra after us and everything will be alright." said Kai thumping my back as I eyed both of them suspiciously.

Both Beomgyu and Kai started singing out loud, "HAKUNA MATATA! EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT!"

And I couldn't help but laugh at it. Those boys were really something as they did a bro fist. "Yesss! We made you laugh!" exclaimed Beomgyu.

"You guys seriously are idiots!" I said still shuddering from laughing.

"And you love the company of these idiots!" Beomgyu shot back with a wink.

I smile at the thought of it. Those moments were my treasure. They were always there for me... Then what happened that I couldn't be there for them?

"Aloha~"

His voice. Soobin.

I whip my head around and almost fall off the bed with my eyes popping out of their sockets. Soobin was sitting on the edge of the bed.

He sat their cross legged with a subtle smile on his face as he gave me a small wave. That was Soobin I assumed. He had black hair, and dark brown eyes like small obsidian beads twinkling in his eyes and his lips were a colour of light pink.

"YOU ARE REAL!?" I yelled but it came out more like a, squeak.

"Of course I am! Did you think I'm a ghost you stupid fanatic!" Soobin scolded me with a pouty expression.

I didn't know what to say as I eyed him up and down, my heart accelerating at high speed as I gulped down and sat up. "So..." I took in a breath before letting it out and tried to calm myself down. "Why didn't you show up earlier... And I thought you left..." I said.

He chuckled heartily throwing his head back before boring his eyes on me again. "I never left! Just turned really quite because instead of doing the work you were just quarrelling." he said. "And I showed up because you did the work."

"I still don't understand..." I say honestly. I secretly pinched the skin of my hand to make myself believe that I wasn't dreaming. He ain't no hallucination right?

He sighed and rolled his eyes. "You thought about the people you want to see again from the bottom of your heart. You really missed them. You really need to see them, so here I am. When you actually need it, only then I appear." he said with a smile.

Okay now I am getting it a bit. I am definitely not mad... Still I am holding on to my doubts and this magician guy or whatever may take me to my friends...?

"So can you make me meet them?" I ask curiously.

A big grin comes across his face and he looks at me for a second long before giving me a pair of 3D glasses. "Let's go you desperate girl."
