After the plane landed, we got in a cab and headed back to the yacht club to grab my car. Harry insists on driving, even when I assure him, I'm fine. I also tell him that the drive is so short that I couldn't possibly not make it. He won't listen so I reluctantly get in the passenger seat and hand him the keys. We head out of the underground and he looks at me for directions on which way to go.

"Make a left."

He does and starts driving down the street. After about two minutes I point to a house and say, "It's that one."

I had been reluctant to talk about my life. About the wealth my family has. It always makes people treat me differently and I worry about people's intentions when they befriend me. I've never fully trusted anyone because of it. Harry was different. He only knew me as a schoolteacher never as Thomas and Jane Wilson's daughter. This was all about to change.

"This is your house?"

"Yeah."

"Did your parents live here too?"

"No, their house is in West Van. We actually sailed past it on the boat the first day."

I press the button for the gates to open and then another for the garage door. He parks the car and gets our bags out of the trunk. I unlock the door and head inside. My house is on the only street in Vancouver that has single family homes that are right on the ocean. It's not a huge estate, like my parent's home but it's a brand-new build with state-of-the-art technology. Everything is voice activated. The lights, heat, air conditioning, blinds, music, television, alarm system. My parents gifted it to me for my birthday earlier this year. I was happy in my apartment, but they thought I needed something more private.  We walk inside and there is a floating staircase with glass railings facing the front door. Around the corner is a gourmet kitchen with two large marble islands. There is a large gas fireplace in the living room that rises up to the second floor with vaulted ceilings. Above us there is a walkway with glass railings on the second floor that leads from one bedroom to the other.

"Wow!" Harry exclaims.

He stands closer to the window and admires the infinity pool below that looks out on the ocean. He turns around and looks at the rest of the room. I can see him trying to process this new information he has been given.

"Say something!"

"What?"

"I know I never really told you about all this."

"Uh huh," he says, still looking around but pacing towards me.

"I just never know how to tell people

"I just never know how to tell people. And then people act so weird around me when they find out," I ramble on.

"Yeah," he mumbles, as he has almost reached me.

"I know it's too much," I say covering my face with my hands.

He reaches me and wraps his arms around me, peeking down at me.
