"Hey, Bakugou, listen to this." Kaminari attempted to share one of his earphones with the ash-blonde.
You couldn't help but smile when he immediately rejected Kaminari's advances.
A couple weeks had passed since Bakugou's house arrest ended. He was obediently attending the three-month special course in order to work towards his provisional license.
"Hey, you found a work study too, didn't you?" Mina tugged at your arm, interrupting your thoughts.
"I did." You laughed, trying to shake her off. "It's a medical-related work study."
"Ouuuuh!" Hagakure butted in. "Sounds interesting! Tell me more."
The work study that you signed up for was under the pro hero, Blue Cross. She spent most of her time in the hospitals performing surgery, but she ran a special subunit specifically for treating injured heroes.
In terms of medical ailments, her signature blue cross symbols brought hope to many. She was considered the number one in her specialty.
"How wonderful." Yaoyorozu looked on with envy.
"It seems we have a long ways to go before we can catch up." You heard Todoroki say to the ash blonde.
"Shut up, you half-half bastard!" Bakugou yelled. "Don't lump us together!"

You just began getting used to the normal routine of your work study when Blue Cross explained that you would be heading with her to an important meeting. She rotated your schedule between shadowing and minor assistance in patient care, lab work, and field work, but today she had other plans for you.
"Is it about the new hospitals?" You asked. Currently the pro hero was busy preparing to build hospitals in several different locations around the world. This would mean she may even spend less time in Japan, increasing her need for sidekicks.
"It's about your latest discovery." She motioned for you to get into a car. "You'll see when we get there."
"Okay." You nodded obediently. There was no use worrying about the situation if she wasn't going to tell you about it. Quite a few of Blue Cross's many sidekicks were accompanying the two of you.
The pro hero exited the vehicle and motioned for you to follow suit. Eventually she led you into a conference room with closed doors.
"(Name)?" You heard Kirishima's familiar voice and turned to face the redhead.
"Sorry I'm late." Blue Cross and the rest of you sat in chairs that were laid out on one end of the conference table. "I just got out of the operating room."
"You could at least try to be punctual." One of the pro heroes complained.
"Please tell that to my patient who needed an emergency triple bypass surgery." Blue Cross's blue eyes stared at the arrogant hero who tried to challenge her. "That being said, I looked over the meeting notes beforehand too."
"Anyway." Nighteye regained everyone's attention. "Glad you could make it, Blue Cross. You are valuable to our society as the hero of heroes."
"Likewise." She nodded, signaling for him to continue the meeting.
The pro hero, Fat Gum, had stood up and introduced himself. He explained what had happened during his most recent encounter with villains. Amajiki, one of the big three at U.A., had temporarily lost his quirk after being shot, and thanks to Kirishima's hardening, they were able to retrieve a bullet and analyze the contents of it: human blood and cells.
