"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE ONE of the fourteen tributes, Prudence," Agatha stated in a shocked tone of voice.

Echo's eyes widened in surprise as she turned to the dark skinned witch, "You are?"

Prudence nodded, a proud smirk shown on her face as she held her head high. She glanced over at Agatha, "Why not, Agatha? All night long, I prayed and prayed to the Dark Lord, didn't I?"

"Yeah, but so did I," Agatha explained.

"So did I," Dorcas added.

"Don't be jealous, girls," Prudence smirked, "Maybe it'll be your turn next year."

"Wait. Prudence, you're apart of this lottery?" Sabrina asked as she appeared behind the dark skinned girl.

Echo couldn't help but roll her eyes at the blonde; once again, she was invading other people's personal space. As much as Echo was against the Feast of Feasts, she wasn't one to tell others how to live their lives. If they wanted to participate, why not just let them.

"There were entrails on her bed, but she's always been lucky that way," Agatha and Dorcas chorused.

"Lucky?" Sabrina looked puzzled, "Hang on, you actually want this? You want to be sacrificed?"

Prudence looked confused at Sabrina's puzzled look, "More than I've ever wanted anything in my life."

"But that's insane. Why?"

"You wouldn't understand, half-breed, you're not a real witch. But there is no greater honour."

"Imagine," Dorcas piped up, "An orphan being queen."

"It would be the first time in the history of the Church of Night," Agatha added.

"Echo, what do you think of this?" Sabrina suddenly asked, her attention going to her older twin.

"Honestly, Sabrina, I don't give a shit," The black haired witch replied causing The Weird Sisters to snicker.

Sabrina opened her mouth in shock, but didn't say anything as she watched Prudence wrap her arm around her sister's before leading her away; Agatha and Dorcas quickly following.

SITTING BESIDES NICHOLAS SCRATCH AT The Church of Night, Echo couldn't help but feel lied to. Her Aunt Zelda was one of the participates in the Feast of Feasts and nobody had told her; not even Sabrina who loved to blabber about anything and everything.

Nick must've sensed the nerves radiating off the black haired witch, as he placed his hand on her thigh before squeezing it comfortingly.

Echo glanced down at his palm. A sudden wave of nerves flooded her stomach as she internally cheered that it was too dark for him to notice her reddening cheeks. The black haired witch's attention finally went on Father Blackwood as he entered the building, a sadistic smirk on his face, "Tonight we celebrate a time-honoured tradition. The Feast of Feasts is a reminder...that even the humblest amongst us can be lifted up to sit with the Dark Lord," He said in a clear voice,  "And that the survival of the coven is greater than the life of  an individual witch. Sisters, let the Dark Lord's will be revealed."

Echo watched nervously as the participating witches each took a small piece of paper out of a chest which a very pregnant Lady Blackwood held, when suddenly the doors of the Church slammed open. Echo cowered in her seat in embarrassment as she heard Sabrina's voice echoing off the walls.

The blonde walked to the front, her chest was puffed out as she held her head high, "I'll draw. I'll draw for the Spellman family."

People began mumbling amongst themselves as Nick turned to Echo, "What the hell is your sister doing?" He questioned, a look of pure confusion painted on his face.

Echo shrugged, "After a while you learn to stop questioning Sabrina's actions," The black haired witch muttered back, her voice filled with venom.

"I'm upholding a beloved tradition, Aunt Zelda," Sabrina stated, the older woman looked embarrassed, "Unless, of course, you want to admit that this whole thing is barbaric, as my father believed!"

Father Blackwood stepped forward, "Sister Zelda, is there a problem?" He questioned, sending a dark glare Sabrina's way.

Echo's eyes were glued to her Aunt. She watched as the older woman glanced around the Church, a look of embarrassment and shame on her face before she shook her head ever-so-slightly, "No, Your Excellency. My brave niece would like to represent the family this year," Aunt Zelda explained, "So, Sabrina, by all means, go ahead," She hissed at the blonde before she moved away from her candle and rushed back to sit in the crowd, annoyance written all over her face.

Echo watched carefully as Sabrina stepped forward and took Aunt Zee's place. Taking a piece of paper from Lady Blackwood as she glanced around the room. Her eyes found Echo's and she tried sending her older twin a small smile, however, all Echo did was glare at the blonde.

"Burn them," Father Blackwood instructed when all the participating witches had their papers.

Echo shifted in her seat; not even realising she moved closer - a lot closer - to Nick. He, on the other hand, noticed almost immediately, and a small - hardly noticeable - yet, genuine smile grazed his face. He watched her carefully whilst she watched the witches burning their papers.

Much to her surprise, Sabrina didn't pick the right paper. Instead, the witch besides her did; Prudence.

Father Blackwood clapped his hands together, "Prudence is queen."
