“Ross!” you frantically yelled running down the steps. “Yea?” he answered. “I know you’ve never actually watched them both alone yet but, can take care of Morgan and Keegan, http://www.gullugag.in/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Twin-Baby-Boy-And-Girl-6.jpg

I know you had that thing planned with the guys and all but the babysitter quit, and it’s your mom’s anniversary so I don’t want to bother her-” Ross cut you off. “Wait, it my parents anniversary?” you rolled your eyes. “Yes, and make sure call her to tell her, before 7:00 they’re going out then. Ross scratched his head. “Oh, well, ok.” You and Ross’s relationship had always been an unusual one. At the beginning of your marriage, it was perfect. You and Ross completed each other. He was a laid back, and chill type of guy, and you were the uptight responsible girl. You two worked perfectly together, but then you had twins. Of course, you were both over joyed with the fact you would have a baby, it was just that a baby was a lot of responsibility, especially twins. Ross loved the babies with all his heart, when it came to playing with them or showing them love, nobody could have done a better job. When it came to the responsible parts, that’s when it got rough for him. He was the worst possible diaper changer you’d ever seen, worse than Joey and Jesse from full house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSplHaKw1qk

We won’t even try to talk about the first time he tried. It was just hard, because he had a busy career, and you had a life too, you couldn’t be with the babies 24/7, you had be able to count on him sometimes. You widened yours eyes, pleadingly. “Ross, I love you, but I have to be able to count on you, I need to-” He set his arms on your shoulders and looked into your eyes. “Babe, I promise. I’ll take care of them. You know how much I love those babies, I promise I would never ever let anything happen to them. You nodded your head. “All right.” You exclaimed and smiled. “Here’s the baby monitor, they’re sleeping right now, there’s formula in fridge, and there’s diapers in the big yellow cabinet in the baby room, okay?” He nodded his head. “I’ll see you later, I love you” he said pecking you on the lips before you walked to the door. “Oh, and Ross, don’t swear in front of the babies! I don’t want them to pick up that kind of language.” He rolled his eyes. “Okay, I get it I’ll be responsible.” You giggled a little. Love you too.” You said exiting the door. He whipped out his phone and texted Rocky.

“Dude, sorry I can’t make it today, I have to take care of Morgan and Keegan, Chrissy had to go to a meeting.”

 Rocky immediately texted him back.

‘Can’t you just call a baby sitter or something?

Ross pondered it for a minute but then thought about what you said, about him not being responsible lately.

“No, sorry Chrissy has already been telling me I need to be more responsible, you guys have fun.”

 Ross actually didn’t really mind missing it, he was happy he would get to spend some time with his babies. “WAHHHHH” the baby cried through the monitor. “Uh oh” Ross jumped up from the couch and ran up the steps to the babies room. It was Keegan, who was crying. He picked him up and rocked him a little “Shhh…don’t wake you sister up” he rocked Keegan while circling around the room. Suddenly Morgan started to cry. “WAHHHHH!” He gritted his teeth. “Umm, here!’ he set Keegan down in the stroller and went to pick up Morgan. “Shhh, it’ll be all right daddy’s here.” But she kept crying. He tried rocking her too, but it didn’t work. He put Morgan in the two baby stroller next to Keegan. He tried to push it back and forth to calm them, but nothing worked. “I wonder if they need their diapers changed?” he mumbled to himself. Taking Morgan out of the stroller. He set her on the changing table they had in the middle of the room. “Diapers, diapers, diapers, where the…uh…heck did she put the diapers?”  “Wait do you even need your diapers changed?” He often talked to the babies, it was cute the way he sometimes asked them questions and acted like they would respond. “Morgan, do you need your diapers changed, what’s wrong.” Of course Morgan kept crying. “Well if you don’t need your diapers changed what you guys want?”  Ross let out a frustrated groan. He picked up Morgan and Keegan, holding one in each arm. “There, daddy’s got you.” Keegan stopped crying for a minute. He was such a Daddy’s boy compared to Morgan who always wanted to be held by you. Keegan grabbed onto Ross’s shoulder and set his head on Ross. The peace didn’t last long for Morgan’s crying kept him crying. “GUYS IM TRYING, WHAT DO YOU WANT?” Ross’s outburst off course didn’t make the kids feel any better. “Shh… I’m sorry” he tried to calm them. “Maybe they’re hungry.” Ross walked down the stairs holding both of them, and walked into the kitchen. He set the babies in their playtime jumpers, as he looked for the baby food. In the mix of all of it, he received a text from you. He quickly opened it;

Ate anything, yet?”

 he typed a response.

“No but I’m thinking about Pizza, its quick and easy.”

You texted back.

“Pizza!?!”

“Yea, why not?

“Ross! Babies can’t eat pizza! They’re 6 months old use some common sense!”

“Oh haha, I thought you meant me, No I’m feeding the babies now, where did you put the baby food?” you sighed in relief.

Sorry, I guess I’m a little uptight, Baby food is in the top drawer of the cabinet.”

He laughed at your texts, and opened the drawer to the baby food. “Bingo!” he yelled. “Okay guys, food is ready!” He got the babies set up in the high chairs and fed them. “Hey, I’m getting this down huh?” Ross made an obnoxious face that made the babies both laugh.  They had finally stopped crying as he fed them. He couldn’t help but smile. He finally realized what it meant to be a parent, what the responsibility was, and he was ready for it. He loved them more than anything in the world, and didn’t want anything to happen to them.

You came home, and they were on the couch, http://i.huffpost.com/gen/1192172/thumbs/o-DAD-BABY-SLEEPING-facebook.jpg

He had each arm wrapped around Morgan, and Keegan. On the couch sleeping they looked adorable. You took out your phone and took a picture. The sound of your footsteps woke Ross up. “Oh you’re home.” He exclaimed startled. He yawned. “Sorry, we were watching TV and we must’ve fallen asleep.” You giggled a little. “It’s okay.” You picked up the Keegan, Ross got Morgan and you brought the sleeping babies up to the cribs. After you put them in their cribs, Ross took a picture of them and posted it on Instagram: I MADE THAT!  You giggled after seeing it. You wrapped your arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. “You know, I’m really proud of you, you’re a great father.” He sighed and looked one more time at the twins “You know, today I realized I maybe I can be.” '
