It was a beautiful summer night in the city of LA, where the golden sun had finally disappeared and the sky was a beautiful painting of blue and purple, where stars dotted the sky like powdered sugar.
Where was Rudy spending it? In a music store. Stuck sitting at the counter behind a vast array of instruments surrounding her. Don't get her wrong, Rudy absolutely loved the store, but she wanted to be at home. The annual 64th grammys were tonight, and there was not a tv in the music store. No people were even in the streets anymore, for they all were at home, waiting for the grammys. Awesome. Rudy had promised her friend, Faith, that she would hold on to her cello that she would be using to perform tonight. Yes, at the grammys. You see, Faith was sort of, kind of famous. She had made an album that skyrocketed in popularity, but, she had kept her real friends through all the fame and fortune. Because her friends had been together since middle school, and they've been inseparable since. Faith's cello was her most prized possession. There it sat on the clear glass counter, for Faith was to pick it up to perform. Faith did not trust herself to bring it into her own home, because she was "clumsy". To be honest, Faith was the exact opposite. But whatever.
