To say Daniel was nervous for this dinner was an understatement.
He was terrified.
Nothing scared him more than saying something wrong or messing up when it came to Faith. He couldn't lose her like that again.
The four guys attempted to reassure him when Monday night rolled around;
although it made Daniel feel a little better, he still couldn't get rid of the nervous feeling growing inside him."Come on man, you got this,"
"I'm postmating Chipolte!"
"My baby's all grown up, imma cry,"
"Fuck it UP,"
"See you, and TELL US HOW IT WENT!"
When Daniel pulled into Faith's driveway at nine o'clock sharp, Faith was already outside.
God, she was breathtaking.
Her midnight blue blouse loosely flowed around her perfect form and her black flowy pants were perfectly fitted.
"Daniel, where in the fuck are we going?" Faith asked as she got in the car. "You never said-"
"It's a surprise," Daniel smirked.
"Besides, you won't care," he said.
Daniel immediately second-guessed what he just said."Touché, I won't," Faith smiled slightly, much to Daniel's relief. "What are the boys doing tonight?"
"Chipotle, Call of Duty, you know, the usual," Daniel smiled at the thought of them.
"So, what they do every night?" Faith snickered.
"Yup, pretty much," Daniel laughed back.
And that's pretty much how the night went, talking and cracking jokes and laughing.
When Daniel pulled into the restaurant, one of the most fancy ones in L.A., Faiths an Daniel got the entire second floor of the restaurant to themselves under the blue midnight sky,
As the night went on, Daniel's nervousness went away almost completely, feeling relief when he felt satisfied that Faith had forgiven him.
He finally felt, what was the word, right again after Faith had forgiven him. So much had gone wrong in Daniel's head and physically, and he needed Faith to help him, he knew that now.
Daniel wasn't going to let Faith go, not ever, he decided.
