Daniel's eyes squinted as the morning sun's rays fell on his ocean blue eyes.
Looking at the clock in the living room, it was 7:08 in the morning.
Daniel groaned inwardly, careful not to wake Faith sleeping soundly on his chest.
He very carefully switched his torso so that his eyes were covered by the sun, then fell back asleep.Faith yawned loudly, her ocean blue eyes fluttering open to reveal a sound asleep Daniel under her.
She questioned why she was finally with Daniel again, but after a split-second of thinking decided she was too tired.
Sitting up carefully just enough to look at the clock, she realized it was 11 in the morning.
Faith gently lowered herself back down to sleeping Daniel, burying her head in his neck slowly, careful not to wake him up, and fell back asleep.BOOM BOOM BOOM
A loud pounding coming from the front door of their house caused both Faith and Daniel to almost fall of their couch, Daniel catching Faith before she could fall.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," Daniel scoffed, knowing who was at the front door. Daniel sat up on the couch with Faith still in his arms.
"Who the fuck-" Faith started, trying to get out of Daniel's grip.
"No, no, I got it, it's fuckin' Jonah," Daniel remembered his discussion with Jonah and the rest of the boys last night as he carefully set Faith back down on the couch and jogged to the front door.
Daniel and the rest of the boys were supposed to be going to go ring shopping.
"DUDE, WHERE THE FU-" Jonah started, but being interrupted by Daniel shushing him and closing the door behind him as he stepped outside with Jonah and the rest of the boys.
"Where the fuck have you been? It's three in the afternoon! We were supposed to go hours ago!" Jonah hissed, all the other boys rolling their eyes.
"I can't do it today, man," Daniel admitted.
"What do you mean?" Jack asked.
Corbyn scoffed, figuring the reason out almost immediately, "Dipshit, he hasn't been spending any time with Faith, he's been to busy with us,"
"Exactly," Daniel sighed, causing the other boys to 'ohh' in realization.
"We can push the date by a couple weeks," Jonah offered, doing the math in his head.
"Thank you," Daniel said, "now shoo, get outta here," he waved his hand, swatting at the boys and shut the front door.
Daniel rubbed his eyes, the last bits of sleep wearing off as he walked back to the living room, seeing Faith on her phone.
"What did Jonah want?" Faith asked, not looking up.
"I forgot we had to go to Hollywood Boulevard today," Daniel said, "he was just giving me shit about it,"
He wasn't technically lying, the jewelers' store that he was going to get the ring from was on the famous street in Los Angeles.
Faith nodded, still looking at her phone.
"Love, please look at me," Daniel pleaded, Faith's eyes flicking up to his own.
"I am so sorry," Daniel repeated the words he said last night, walking over and sitting on the ottoman across from the couch, taking Faith's hands in his own.
"Daniel-"
"No, please let me finish," Daniel interrupted, "me and the guys have been working on something," Daniel said truthfully, "due to our management, I can't tell you what it is though, but it's something crazy," Daniel smiled widely as Faith's mouth dropped open on excitement.
Daniel didn't technically lie, they were working on something, the proposal.
"Well why didn't you say so?" Faith grinned, pulling Daniel in a hug, "God, I am so proud of you, Daniel, of all of the boys," Faith said, "I can't wait to hear, it watch it, whatever," she laughed.
"I think you're gonna love it a lot." Daniel kissed Faith.
