You sighed as you stared into the flames of the final campfire you'd be having at the site.

It was obvious you weren't the only one upset about it, everyone shared the same solemn look but hid it with laughs and smiles.

You smiled softly before resting your head onto Shayne's shoulder, taking a sip of hot chocolate as you felt his head rest on yours.

You tried to stop your grin from growing, but it ultimately failed and you knew it did by the look Noah was giving you.

With a short glare, you focused your attention back on the fire, watching the colours flicker together.

"I'm going to miss this." You were the first to speak on the matter that everyone was thinking about. Everybody's sad stricken eyes fell on you.

"Yeah," Shayne murmured, "I'll miss it but there's always next year."

The others spoke up in agreement with him, but you couldn't help but to let your frown deepen before forcing your head up. Shayne pulled his head away fast from the force and gave you a look which you returned with dull eyes.

"You have next year," you stated, breaking your gaze and willing yourself to look at the fire again. "I don't." You finished lamely, taking one of the sticks and poking at the fire, trying everything to avoid eye contact.

You felt warm, big hands grab your cheeks and pull your face from the fire. "You'll be here next year." Shayne insisted, making sure you kept eye contact with his icy blues.

You shook your head, trying to pull it away. "No I won't, Shayne." You insisted with a twang of sadness in your voice. "Did you not see what they did when I was here? The fans don't like me. Don't ruin something good for yourself."

"I don't care what the fans think about you." It was a different voice this time, "You're coming back to do winter games, I couldn't imagine this experience without you." From across the fire, Anthony finished his statement.

You felt tears prick your eyes as he continued. "You shouldn't care what they think. They've never met you, they'll never get the full extent of how wonderful (Y/n) (L/n) is."

With that, you let the tears cascade down your face while Shayne pulled you into a hug. The others followed, getting up from their logs and engulfing you in a huge group hug.

"I love you guys." You choked out with a weeping breath.

Cold water ran down your hot face while you took a deep breath. You lifted your head to look into the mirror, being greeted by a puffy face.

You let out a sigh, grabbing the towel off of the hanger and wiping your face down before throwing it into the laundry hamper.

Hopefully those would be the last tears for the trip.

You shut the light off and closes the door behind you, yawning while you made your way into the room you'd been sharing with the others.

Most were sleeping but you noticed a dim light from the top of your bunk.

"Shanyne, go to bed." You scolded in a whisper, a smirk dancing across your face.

He dropped his phone a bit and shot you a glare, "You go to bed." He mocked back in a childish tone.

You rolled your eyes, getting into bed and covering yourself in your warm blankets.

It was silent for a while, before you heard the creaking of the top bunk.

Next thing you knew, a pair of blue eyes were staring at you in the dark. You turned your head before rolling your body over in the direction of Shayne's head, "What is it?"

"Just know we all love you here." Shayne spoke softly, giving you a lopsided smile. You couldn't help but blush at the tone of voice, "I know, you guys told me earlier."

"I know," Shayne chuckled, "Just thought I needed to remind you." You rolled your eyes at him playfully.

Shayne's arm escaped from his bed and found its way to your hand, giving it a small squeeze, and you didn't think your face could get any redder.

"You're important to m—" He cut himself off, "You're important to us."

You took a glance at your intertwined fingers before finding his eyes again. "Thanks, Shayne." You whispered, rubbing your thumb against his hand as some sort of way to make him know you meant it.

With one more smile, he released your hand and turned back up into his bed.

You sighed, turning to face the wall again and brought comforter to your face.

You'd fall asleep with the feeling of his hand in your own.
