it was sunday evening, and i was alone. i was sat in the living room watching a film whilst pampering myself. it's been so long since i had last done it, so i thought i deserved a treat.
my boyfriend sam is currently at the studio recording his new song, so i have the flat to myself. i'm currently sat listening to my arctic monkeys playlist, whilst occasionally belting out the lyrics.
i was half way through putting on a face mask when i heard the front door open. sam then walked in with the biggest grin on his face and came and sat down next to me.
"evie a have officially finished recording ma second album" he said whilst still grinning.
"that's amazing!" i said whilst giving him a hug.
"watcha doin like?" he asked.
i gave him a look as to say 'what do you think' and he laughed.
"do ya want a face mask on" i asked hopefully.
he looked disgusted at first but when i opened the packet he started to look shy.
"uh, a dunno" he said nervously.
cutie.
"ah come on it'll be fun!!" i exclaimed.
he began to look even more nervous about it until he gave in.
i grinned at him and started to place to face mask on him. he started to fidget and started to take it off as it was "itchy" but i made him stop when i said if he moved it around, it would never come off. he suddenly stopped which made me laugh.
as soon as the mask was on i burst out laughing.
"ya look like an ogre" i said still laughing.
he gave me the dirtiest look ever whilst i took out my phone and took a photo for an instagram story.
"a actually look well fit yanar evie" he laughed.
i raised an eyebrow before placing my facemask on.
"now we can be shrek n fiona!" i said.
we both burst out laughing and we took a few silly photos for instagram.
"okay, what now" i scanned the pampering items on the carpet when a certain item caught me eye.
sam saw me looking at it before his face turned into horror.
"nah, nah way evie"
"cmon pleaseee" i gave sam a puppy face before he sighed.
i grinned before grabbing the bright pink nail varnish and placing it onto sams fingers.
"a actually hate ya so much"
"hmmm sure ya do" i laughed.
we spent about an hour using all the different items before sam had a proper makeover.
"ya look gorgeous" i giggled.
he stared at me before shaking his head and walking out to go wash it off.
he walked back in and i noticed the nail varnish still on his fingers.
he saw me looking at it before saying
"the pink makes me feel pretty"
that's when i lost it. ive never laughed so hard in my life. sam looked at me with a straight face saying that he wasn't joking. my boyfriend is an idiot.
