"Mommy I wanna see papa" Adalyn tugged on her mother's shirt forcefully as she repeated the same sentence over again in a whiny tone

"I think he's busy right now-"

"But I miss papa. I didn't see him in a longggggg time" the girl pouted

"I know but papa lives somewhere else-"

"It's not fair! My friends are always with their papas. I never see mine" she pushed herself off her mother and stormed off as she sat on the couch in the living room with an angry frown across her face

Dawn sighed to herself. She and Mattia hadn't discussed how often Adalyn would see him. She wasn't sure if she wanted to bring it up although she necessarily had to. It wasn't right for her to keep the man away from his child any longer

But something didn't sit right with her. And she didn't know what it was

She raised her phone to her face as she looked at the messages on the screen from her boyfriend. She was still furious with him and couldn't believe the fact that he had a hickey that wasn't from her

She didn't care who he got it from. More or less, all she cared about was that he admitted it, which he hadn't yet done. She would leave him instantly if he told her the truth though. She didn't need him. She didn't need a cheater

She rolled her eyes at the messages that appeared on her screen
