The two joyfully held onto each other as the song played; their hands bound together by touch. Dawn smiled as her head laid on his chest, touching the delicate fabric of his wedding suit

That was when the digital door lock turned green. Someone was swiping their card to the room. There was only one other person who had that key to the room... but it hadn't caught the attention of the two lovers in time

The door swung open and Dawn jumped and pushed herself off of Mattia as the bride stood in the doorframe with tears in her eyes.

"Oh my god.." she muffled with her mouth left open as tears fell down her cheek and over the diamond necklace that laid around her neck.

"Ava-" Mattia said as he stood besides Dawn. Ava looked into his eyes coldly before looking over at the woman he was still in love with. She slowly walked over to her.

"Ava im sorry-" Dawn let out before the woman slapped her. With tears in her eyes she pulled her hand away and stared at the two of them in disgust. Dawn stared down at the floor in complete shock

"I don't know who I'm more disgusted by.. you or him" she scoffed as she shifted her gaze between the two. "You're a cheater and you're a homewrecker"

"Ava I don't have everything you need in a guy" Mattia said as he went to take her hand but she pulled away

"You're right" she laughed angrily "only a genius could love a woman like me" she began tearing up even more and then eventually crying

"Please don't cry" Mattia said approaching her for a hug before she pushed him away from her.

"Don't touch me!" She yelled and then stood face to face with Dawn. Their foreheads only centimeters apart. Her eyes screamed fury before she spat in her face.

Dawn's mouth was open in shock... she didn't know what to say or do. Normally she would've punched her senseless but she understood where the rage was coming from. She was the bad guy in this situation

"Ava!" Mattia yelled as he pulled her away.

"You bitch" she shook her head as she stared Dawn down; who couldn't do anything more than nod. "I let you come upstairs to help me and then you take forever. So I come upstairs to hear him pouring his heart out to you!" She yells. "You have some nerve "

"If he didn't wanna marry you he wasn't going to either way" she finally said as she walked over to Ava. "And I'm sorry.. for this. I didn't think any of this would happen-"

"Shut the fuck up" she spat. "Maybe it's better I didn't go through the vows with you" she turned to the man she was going to marry. "Or the embarrassment would've been double what it already is right now. What the fuck am I supposed to tell my family" she winced

"The truth. And I'm so sorry" he shook his head.

"So you aren't in love with me? Were you ever?"

"I was" he nodded

"Bullshit" she sighed while shaking her head. "You never loved me. You loved the idea of being with someone that took that lonely feeling away from you. I made you feel so much better about your miserable life while you were depressed and at your lowest point ever. I loved you even before I thought it was possible. And I still love you" she took a deep breath as her shaky hands took her engagement ring off her finger. "You don't hurt the people you love. You don't hurt the people that love you" she hesitated before handed it to him with tears in her eyes. She stared at the ring once before grabbing his hand and placing it in his palm
