Anah: Don't 'morning, beautiful' me today.
Matt: Ok... why not?
Anah: Because I have had a restless night and I am not in the mood for any of your adorableness.
Matt: I don't think 'adorableness' is a word.
Anah: Well, it should be.
Matt: If you say so. Penguin.
Anah: Don't 'Penguin' me either.
Matt: Babe?
Anah: Not even that.
Matt: What happened, Anah?
Anah: I couldn't sleep.
Matt: Why couldn't you sleep?
Anah: Because I was thinking... and I was confused.
Matt: Thinking about...? And confused about...?
Anah: YOU!
Matt: What did I do?!
Anah: Apparently you're not Matthew Carrigan or Matthew Meyer.
Matt: And that kept you up all night?
Anah: Duh.
Matt: I'm confused.
Anah: You're confused? You're confused?
Matt: I'm guessing from the underlying indignant tone in your message that you are confused also.
Anah: Don't get wordy with me, mister.
Matt: I profusely apologize.
Anah: Stop showing off.
Anah: Anyway- yes, I am confused.
Matt: Anything I can do to help you clear up this troubling confusion?
Anah: Are you deliberately trying to annoy me? Because if you are, you might want to quit while you're ahead.
Matt: Toning it down.
Anah: What do you mean you're not Carrigan or Meyer?! How is that possible?! They were the only two Mathews I saw in the library... you have to be one of them!
Matt: I don't have to be either of them. And saw being the operative word.
Anah: Double confused.
Matt: Just because you only saw two Matthews in the library doesn't mean there weren't more.
Anah: No, there were only two.
Matt: Did you ever look behind you?
Anah: Why would I look behind me?
Matt: Because while you were stalking Carrigan and Meyer, perhaps someone was stalking you.
Anah: You were following me?
Matt: Creepy Stalker, remember?
Anah: I thought we were over those days?
Matt: I was... until I saw your books out on the floor in the History section.
Anah: Excuse me?
Matt: Did you check to see if everything was still in your bag?
Anah: What did you take?
Matt: Take? Nothing. Maybe you should be asking what I put in instead.
