The three walk into the old mill, "Welcome." Says the man who led them there. "I call it Fort Parker. It's a it's a bit moldy but also rent-controlled, so I try not to complain." Josie and Iris stand next to one another, analyzing the situation. The man looks up. "Flavored vodka? It's, uh...It's no Zima, but then again, nothing is." He chuckles, tossing it at the girls. Josie catches it, staring at him.
"You're Kai Parker."
The male turns around, facing Josie. "I am. And you are one of the Saltzman twins. I can smell the Gemini on you. The real question is: are you Linda or, or Joanie?" He laughs loudly. "I can never tell you two apart." He glances at the blond witch. "You, you are different."
"My names Iris. Iris McKnight." Kai's eyes twitch at her name.
"And I'm Josie. Named after my mom, who you killed." Josie follows, not giving the heretic time to react to the other girls name.
He pulls out a sword, then rolls his eyes. "Okay, here we go. Look, technically, I was trying to kill you and your sister." He explains. "Uh, but that's all over now, so I say we just move on." He shrugs, turning away again.
"Move on?" Josie whispers. "You're a monster."
Kai pauses, looking at her. "A monster would have let you die." He retorts. "That vampire who tried to turn you into her own personal Capri Sun? She's the real monster." The man pours himself a drink. "She and her cronies run this world. They revived me from desiccation just so they could have a little plaything. Every day, like clockwork, they hunt me down and kill me." Iris watches him closely, noticing he's keeping a good distance from her. "But since I'm magically bound to this world,I can't actually die. So I pop back up only to be hunted and killed all over again every day." He shrugs. "Welcome to the Supernatural Hunger Games."
"That girl used to go to my school." Josie says, thinking back to Jade. "Why is she here?"
"No answers for free." Kai tosses the glass bottle over his shoulder after drinking it. "Information for information. What are you doing here?"
Iris steps forwards. "We, um we used a Mora Miserium." She explains.
"Sandclock?" Kai questions. "Oh, don't tell me. It degraded, and you just decided to drop it over here without a thought for my safety." He scoffs, offended.
"I tried to create a new world, but a witch tricked us, and we got pulled into this one instead." Josie explains.
Kai chuckles. "Classic double cross. And, uh who else is part of this we?"
