I just stood there. Yep something very weird is happening. This is an alternate universe so anything could happen. I wish I won't meet her. Keyword, me.

We a walked around while Quill was measuring the planet's tilt.

"The heck happened to this planet? It's eight degrees off its axis. Gravitational pull is all over the place." Quill said.

Me and Mantis were jumping hapilly on a non gravitational spot. Well, until we get called out.

"Yeah, we got one advantage. He's coming to us. We'll use it. All right, I have a plan. Or at least the beginnings of one. It's pretty simple. We draw him in, pin him down, get what we need. Definitely don't wanna dance with this guy. We just want the gauntlet." Tony said.

Then Drax guy yawned. Tony looked unamused.

"Are you yawning? In the middle of this, while I'm breaking it down? Huh? Did you hear what I said?" Tony asked.

"You seriously don't get along with new folks?" I asked.

"I stopped listening after you said, "We need a plan."" Drax said ignoring me. Oh how I love being ignored. (Hint of sarcasm.)

"Okay, Mr. Clean is on his own page." Tony told Quill.

"See, "not winging it" isn't really what they do." Quill said.

"Uh, what exactly is it that they do?" Peter asked.

"Kick names, take ass." Mantis said looking an 8-week-old kitten doing fierce.

"Yeah, that's right." Drax quietly agreed facing us.

"This is so hopeless." I mumbled.

Tony pauses with an expression of deep hopelessness.

"Alright, just get over here, please. Mr. Lord, can you get your folks to circle up?" Tony asked.

"Star-Lord." I corrected.

""Mr. Lord." Star-Lord is fine." Quill said.

Quill motions Drax and Mantis.

"We gotta coalesce. 'Cause if all we come at him with is a plucky attitude...." Tony said.

"Dude, don't call us plucky. We don't know what it means. Alright, we're optimistic, yes. I like your plan. Except it sucks, so let me do the plan, and that way it might be really good." Quill said.

"Oh this is good." I said.

Peter Parker follows the conversation back and forth like a squash rally. He looked like a lost puppy.

"Tell him about the dance-off to save the universe." Drax said.

"What dance-off?" Tony asked.

"It's not a... it's not... it's nothing." Quill denied.

"Like in Footloose, the movie?" Peter asked.

"Exactly like Footloose. Is it still the greatest movie in history?" Quill asked excitedly.

"These Peters are gonna get along." I laughed.

"It never was." Peter said.

"Oh I take that back." I stopped laughing.

Quill looked sad. I felt sorry for him.

"Don't encourage this, alright?" Tony asked.

"Okay" Peter replied.

I felt bad. Oh well. He's like my best friend Avenger. Now, I just need to defeat the purple grape.

"We're getting no help from Flash Gordon here." Tony says.
