Chapter 25

Author's note : First and foremost, I would like to apologize to  my readers for not updating. I was supposed to post updates on last  Monday. However  I couldn't. My dad was rushed to ICU last Sunday due to lack of oxygen. He arrived at the hospital with oxygen level below 20%. We almost lost him forever. But luckily not. And luckily he was tested negative for the Covid-19. I was worried and couldn't think straight for a few days.  He was finally moved out from ICU to normal ward yesterday so i guess he's better now. So I'm sorry for the late update.

Gyuri went downstairs for breakfast. Surprise swept her face when she saw Samuel in his school uniform.

"Yah!" Gyuri went to him. "Good morning." Samuel greeted her. She looked at him from head to toe, "You're going to school? How's your wound?" she asked him. "Getting better. I feel bored staying at home so I begged Yoongi hyung to let me go to school today." Samuel said. Gyuri looked at her worriedly. "Don't worry. It doesn't hurt that much now." Samuel smiled at her. "Are you sure?" she asked him and he nodded eagerly.

"Okay then." Gyuri took the empty seat next to Samuel and started to eat her breakfast.

"Samuel? Is that you?" A voice called. Samuel and Gyuri turned around. Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook were walking towards them. Samuel quickly bowed, "Alpha." He greeted Taehyung. "How's your wound?" he asked Samuel. He nodded, "It's healing, thank you." Taehyung looked at Gyuri's hand, clutching onto Samuel's arm. "I see you don't need me to walk you to class anymore. Your guardian is here now." Taehyung said.

Samuel looked down at Gyuri's hand. He quickly bowed to him, "No, alpha! That's not it. I will leave if you want." Samuel knew how much Taehyung pissed off every time he saw Gyuri holding onto his hands.

"No, no. It's okay. Maybe some other time. I'm sure she would love to walk with her best friend again." Taehyung looked at Gyuri and she blushed. "Well, I guess I see you during lunch?" Taehyung asked and she nodded. "Let's go." He said to Jimin and Jungkook. The three of them walked away.

Gyuri looked at Samuel. "Can you wait for me here for a while?" Samuel nodded, "Sure." Gyuri let go off his hand and ran after Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook.

"A-alpha..." she called. Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook turned around. "What's wrong? I thought you left to class." Taehyung said.

She looked at Taehyung's hand. "Well...I ...uhm..." she played with her fingers. "Uhm..." Taehyung smiled. "Come to me, kitten." He held his hand to her. She uneasily looked between Jimin and Jungkook and they saw that.

Jungkook smiled, "We understand. We'll see you in class, alpha." He grabbed onto Jimin's sleeve. "Let's go hyung." "Bye, princess." Jimin winked at her. "T-Thank y-you." she thanked them before they went away.

"Now, come to me, kitten." Taehyung smile. Gyuri placed her hand in Taehyung's big hand. At once, she felt all her nervousness disappeared. Taehyung pulled her closer but didn't hug her. "Do you need a hug kitten?" he asked her. She shook her head, "N-Not now. I just feel like I ne-need to be c-close to you before going to class." She told him with a blushing face. Taehyung giggled, "You're too cute for me kitten. Maybe we should do this every morning. Somehow I feel happy holding your hand." Taehyung said and she nodded, "Me too."

Taehyung smiled, "Go. Samuel is waiting for you. He looks bored." He said to her and she giggled. "See yo-u later." He nodded, "Later, love."

With that he went to his class and Gyuri went to her class while clutching onto Samuel's arm.
