"AHHHHHH!!!" West Virginia screamed out of her dream as she bolted upright in bed.

"West! It's OK!" The dark-haired girl heard her sister's voice as the dark images still filled her mind.

"It's not real, it can't be!"

To West Virginia's embarrassment, she found herself crying in Maryland's arms again as Tennessee and California sat next to them.

The only one that wasn't interested in making her feel better was Nevada, who was smirking from across the room with her arms crossed over her chest.

"It was horrible..." West Virginia lamented weakly as she looked up at her sister, her eyes completely red now.

"I was reliving Pearl Harbor all over again, you all had sunk this time and then... I saw her..." The mountain girl covered her face with her hands. "I-I should have listened to you."

"I told ya' so." Nevada said smugly, Maryland glaring over at her.

"You're not helping!" The blonde just rolled her eye as West Virginia spoke up again softly.

"B-But why didn't you tell me about Okie?" The smug look was gone from Nevada's face instantly as her arms became uncrossed as well. The others all looked at Neveda with shock as they knew what it meant.

Her younger sister...

Oklahoma was gone...

"Take back what ya' just said, take it back now before I break ya' lyin' face." Nevada glared angrily at West Virginia as California and Tennessee got to their feet slowly.

"Nevada, you need to calm down right now." California put her hands up, with Tennessee cracking her neck.

"I'm not lying!" West Virginia's tone began to rise as Nevada took a step forward.

"Easy cowgirl." California held a defensive stances, knowing things were about to go south quickly.

"Stop lyin' West! Tell me ya' didn't see my sister just now! Tell me!!!" Nevada's cool demeanor was gone as she balled up her fists.

"I'm not lying, I saw her with Arizona, she looked..." West Virginia gripped her head painfully as the image was crystal clear in her head. "S-She looked completely twisted, yellow eyes with serrated teeth as the morse code from them... like hammers on her hull. I can't get the sound out of my head!"

"LAIR!!!" Nevada instantly lost it, hearing her sister described so horribly to her as she lunged for West Virginia's throat.

"I'm going to sink ya'! I don't even care if they turn me into fucking soup cans!" Tennessee and California quickly stepped in and tackled Nevada back as the blonde was foaming at the mouth.

"I'm sorry Neveda...." West Virginia apologized weakly, seeing the pain and hurt in Nevada's golden eye.

"Sorry?! Sorry doesn't bring her back goddammit! Ya' fucking selfish, hillbilly bitch! YA' left her there to rot!" This triggered West Virginia's memory as she remembered she was the last one to see Oklahoma afloat.

After a few days of being 'righted" Oklahoma seemed fine. Besides the massive torpedo damage they both took, they seemed alright, Oklahoma even joking that they were torpedo twins.

The two recovered together and were soon back in the water, after tests Okie was declared unfixable but West believed the navy just didn't want to pay for her.

West's hull ached painfully now as she remembered how sad it really was. While West Virginia was being fixed up, Oklahoma was being stripped down. By the end West was pushing Oklahoma around in a wheelchair as the girl was a complete husk of her former self. Okie couldn't talk at all now and barely used morse either.

Suddenly West Virginia snapped back to reality as she realized she had just been daydreaming.

"Are ya' listening to me!" Nevada demanded as California and Tennessee were still holding her back.

Just then the door opened behind the group of ship-girls as they all knew who it was. Pugent Sound's massive frame stepped into the room as she still had the same stern look on her face. Nevada pulled back away from the others, tears rolling down her face.

"Momma' Sound..." Neveda whimpered lowly. "Tell me my sister is coming and West Virginia is lyin'..."

The Shipyard opened her massive arms as she walked towards Nevada and embraced her.

"T-Tell me she's lyin'!" Nevada exploded into tears in the woman's ample bosom as the others just watched her sadly.

"SHE'S LYIN'!!!" Nevada repeated as Sound leaned down and deepened her hug.

To West Virginia's surprise Sound's body began to glow a light orange as Neveda began to calm down.

"Come on honey, let's go talk in the kitchen and let the others sleep." Neveda only nodded sheepishly as she looked back at West Virginia expecting a smug look on her face, but couldn't find it as she just turned away.

"Goodnight everyone..."
