"do you want to come over to my place tonight?" the man asked, eyeing wonwoo from top to bottom. his hands were reaching over to touch wonwoo, but mingyu noticed it before wonwoo did, he slapped the man's hand away and pulled wonwoo closer to him

"what's your problem? harassing people on streets like these?" mingyu shouted, causing unwanted attention

"don't come in between me and the boy! mind your own business kid" the man pushed mingyu away

"he is my business!" mingyu shouted before he balled his fists to punch the man

"stop! let's just" wonwoo reached for mingyu to lower his fists, stopping him from any fights

"let's just go home" wonwoo said softly as he hugged mingyu's arm and tugged onto mingyu's clothes to leave

"why did you stop me from punching him? he deserves it" mingyu scoffed while wonwoo was seated on mingyu's bed, playing with his sweater paws

"violence isn't always the answer" wonwoo muttered

"and i don't want you ending up in pain" wonwoo continued

mingyu rolled his eyes, "fighting is already normal for me, it doesn't matter if i get hurt or not, what matters is that he harassed you"

"gyu, i don't like violence" wonwoo confessed. mingyu softened his expression as wonwoo turned away from mingyu, back now facing him

"sorry" mingyu apologised, pulling wonwoo towards him. wonwoo wasn't happy with mingyu today, for causing trouble and unwanted attention around them. mingyu hugged wonwoo from the back, squishing wonwoo as hard as he could, "forgive me?" mingyu asked as he placed multiple kisses on wonwoo's cheek

"don't talk to me, kim" wonwoo tried to escape mingyu's embrace

"i love you" mingyu kissed wonwoo

"i said don't" he got cut off by another kiss

"you"

"okay! i get it already" wonwoo sighed, before being released by mingyu

"do you love me?"

"...yes" wonwoo muttered

they chose to go to mingyu's house as it was a closer alternative, plus wonwoo didn't really feel like going home just yet. he wanted more time with mingyu. he doesn't feel safe in his own home after the incident about two years ago

"i love you!" mingyu assured as he kissed wonwoo's forehead before going out of the room to get wonwoo something to eat. wonwoo nodded and sat by the bed , thinking of what could've happened if mingyu really did cause trouble just now

wonwoo was left alone with his thoughts again

is it right to date mingyu?

will this turn out alright? 

or would it turn out heartbreaking?

wonwoo snapped out of his thoughts after mingyu entered the room with snacks. mingyu did notice the slight change in wonwoo's behaviour, he was a bit more sensitive? to the area around him

"hey, are you okay? i can bring you home if you want" mingyu suggested, wonwoo shivered, shaking his head, "no, i'm alright, what makes you think i'm not?" wonwoo asked

"you seem really disturbed by anything" mingyu replied, not knowing if that was the right thing to say

"it's just that, i don't know if everything is real or not" wonwoo mumbled as he played with the hem of his sweater

"everything? like?" 

"everything! like if we're actually real or not, cause it doesn't feel real at all" wonwoo explained, feeling bad if mingyu took it the wrong way, he added, "cause it all feels too much like a dream to be true"

"won, you do know ever since i transferred to this school, once i laid my eyes on you, i realised that you are the one i want, and it didn't chance since then. the reason for my behaviour, i've explained it to you before didn't i?" mingyu explained himself as he combed wonwoo's hair with his fingers

"yeah, i know, but there's something that tells me that this is all a lie, that it'll be over when i wake up" wonwoo quietly said

"even if this is a lie, i promise that no matter what, i'll always find my way to you"
