"it's been the same repeating cycle,, i'm tired of it,, do you know how much i try to keep us stable? how hard i work in school so that my parents are satisfied with my results and i could go out? forget about that, do you know how hard it is to go out there alone? not having you to protect me from all sorts of people out there?" wonwoo let everything out and tears were streaming down his face again

mingyu didn't hesitate anymore and engulfed wonwoo in a hug, hugging him so hard, wishing that he would be okay again

"i don't want you to be put in this type of despair ever again,, i'll never ignore your messages or calls ever again. if you want to go outside,, tell me, i would be there to protect you, i'm still trying my best to change for you" mingyu pleaded

"i don't know mingyu,, i'm so afraid of the world and what it has done to me" wonwoo held onto mingyu tighter than mingyu was holding onto wonwoo

"tell me your fears, let me protect you from them. tell me your secrets, i'll keep them. tell me your dreams, i'll help you achieve it. together" mingyu calmed the older with such a simple manner, and yet, the older was completely calm

"of course, not now, maybe when you feel like it. now we just need you to get some rest, alright?" mingyu placed a kiss on wonwoo's forehead, reassuring him that he wouldn't neglect wonwoo like that ever again

"i love you" mingyu kissed wonwoo on the lip
