Eidos decided that he had to leave. He could no longer suffer the constant thanking and looks of awe. He felt like a god, an Olympian, who wanted everyone to grovel at their feet. Though he had gold in his veins, he wouldn't let it run through his heart.

He also decided no to stay in one place longer than necessary. The only problem was Karen. He didn't want to let her tag along with him because it was dangerous and his constant shifting would not provide the stability that she deserved in her life. As much as he knew she wanted to come, he wouldn't allow it.

So he decided to talk to both Karen and Bethel, see if she could take care of her for him. Bethel immediately agreed, not even battling an eye. That woman had taken care of both of them and genuinely considered them her children. But Karen was a little more difficult to persuade, but after some gentle nudging, she grudgingly agreed.

So after a few years of living peacefully, he finally decided to move. He decided to go to Zold, a planet know for its vandalism and crime. He wanted to help all the people affected by it. And that he did.

He spent about a decade as such, jumping from planet to planet, often visiting Karen like he'd promised. He did many kind acts, but brutal too. He assassinated many kings and dictators, freeing their subjects from further torture and poverty, but contrary to what anyone thought, he was not an assassin. He never took money and he killed only those who were necessary and wouldn't listen to reason.
All while doing this he kept his hood on creating an awe- like air around him whenever people talked about him.

And, boy, did they talk about him. They spoke of his grace and melodic voice. They spoke of his hooded face and regal stature. They spoke of how the shadows seem to cling on him and flames bent in his direction. But mainly, they spoke of his kind acts, and because of this, he was known all over the universe.

Chaos was astounded. He knew Perseus was a good and loyal lad and for that he had aided him, but Percy, or Eidos as everyone knew him, had exceeded all of his expectations. From the moment Percy left Earth, Chaos had decided that he would become a part of his army. But now...Chaos wanted to give him the position of Commander.

The position of Commander was directly under him and was only for the worthiest man, or woman to possess, and Chaos was sure that Eidos was more than worthy. It was the throne of the Commander which gave the person their powers, but no matter who sat on it, no one could claim the position. But Chaos had a hunch that it was waiting for the right person. The only problem was that Eidos didn't want to be found.

Chaos had been sending his soldiers after him, but he had severely underestimated him. Before long it had become a sort of competition between all the troops of the Chaos army. He was a living legend, and those who could even talk to him were appreciated and flocked. Chaos took it as a challenge. He kept going after him and Eidos kept evading him. It was extremely frustrating that someone's hiding and escaping skills were at par, if not better than him.

Chaos P.O.V

Finally I had tracked down Percy. It had been a hundred years since I had last seen him or sensed him. He had gone completely of the grid. My 2nd and 3rd in command always teased me about it. Honestly, Percy's masking skills were excellent. I had initially planned on letting him have a few years to deal with his grief and anger and another few to get to know the Galaxy. But apparently he made the rules now and it was maddeningly frustrating.

He'd beaten the best of best men. They usually described him as a tall, hooded man who never spoke down to them or hurt them. He only fought if necessary and was always gentle. All of my soldiers were in awe of him. I wondered what their reaction would be when he would become Commander.

I knew that Percy didn't want to become a part of the army, much less commander, but I also knew that he was too kind and loyal to pass on an opportunity to help save many planets and their people. So I continued asking him.

Eidos P.O.V

I was currently on planet Versa. I had just killed their King, a filthy man who used the hard earned taxes on women and toys. I had watching him for months, urging him to change, coaxing him on a better path, but he'd always refuse. I hated killing, loathed it, but I had to. And after I dealt with him, I took a special pleasure in releasing all his slaves and their children, making sure they were finally safe.

I was walking the streets, hoping to find a good place to rest my feet and also eat. I found a café which reminded me greatly of Bethel's place on Genyl. Nostalgia forced me towards it, and I didn't care much. Just as I entered, I sensed a very powerful, yet distinctly familiar aura. I sighed.
"Hello Chaos" I tapped him on his shoulder.
