A/N-
This is a a combination of two chapters because I felt that if I publish it separately, it would loose the flow of the situation, so I will not be updating for a few days after this.
Thank you.

There was only option Eidos had and that was to expel pure energy. He knew that his body was enough of a vessel to channel the energy but there were high chances of him not surviving it.
He would have to take energy from all the beings present and then expel it towards Tartarus, and survive. But he would keep this as a last resort. It was too dangerous, not only for him but for all the people from whom he would take the energy.
It could literally make them wither and die. He had to make sure that he would take energy but not kill them too, and to do that for about 100 people would take immense concentration.
So instead of worrying about that, he focused on trying to make Tartarus fade, without plan B. He fought like he never fought before. Slashes dripping with ichor slowly started to cover him and he slowed slightly. But instead of growing weaker, he seemed to grow stronger as he grew angrier.
Slowly hope started to diminish as demigods and satrys were killed like flies. Too many were dying and Eidos could do nothing. Whatever he did, had an impact but it was not enough for the giant of a man.
Eidos stopped for a minute and took that minute to gather his thoughts. So many were dead.. Should he take the risk? He could not let so many die.
He looked again at the red pooling on the ground when he made his decision.

Eidos seeked high ground. He needed a place where there were no demigods or nature spirits present but also a place where he had a clear shot. After doing a quick scan and checking auras, he headed towards the top of the big house.
Quick as lightning, he jumped from brick to brick till he reached the very roof of the building. Once he reached, he stood for a minute to clear all thoughts from his mind and close his eyes. If he was going to attempt this, then it needed the highest concentration.
Slowly he beckoned the energy towards him. First he used his own store of energy and then added pints and pints from the demigods and spirits.
As he worked, an aura of sea-green, orange and black surrounded him. As the energy he got grew, a ball formed in between his extended hands which was pitch black and pulsed slowly, like an heartbeat.
He was completely focused on his task, and so he failed to notice the cries of Cora and Xavier as they begged him to stop, but even they knew deep-down that this was the only way, they could now only hope that he could survive the amount of energy.
Even the campers started to notice their depletion in strength and the glowing orb in front of the commander. They did not know what he was doing but hoped that it would help them. All they could do now, was try their best to prevent the lord of the pit destroy their homes.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Eidos swirled his hands around the ever growing orb making the ball swirl around with him.
Its pulses had become stronger and now when it pulsed, it expelled a wave of wind. Before long the wind had gotten so strong that Eidos cloak threatened to fall down.
The aura around him had not lessened and nor did the size of the gigantic ball of energy. After a few tense minutes, the ball grew to the same size of the commander. Eidos had taken Cora's and Luke's energy last since they had more than the campers and nature spirits.
It was very difficult for Eidos to control to pulsing orb after he took the duo's energy. He had to release it and he had to release it soon, otherwise, it could dispel and create a nuclear explosion bigger than earth had ever seen.
What next happened was too much of a shock for everyone to comprehend.
Tartarus was hit by a giant black sphere and stumbled back as it consumed him and encased him in a black aura. It somehow pained him because his face was set in a soundless scream.
Painfully slow, his body started to glow and crumble, still encased in the black aura. Eidos knew what was going to happen and what meager energy he had left, he made a orange-colored sphere around the primordal, shielding the explosion which took place a few seconds after.
When the dust settled, the campers could finally see what had happened. What once was a huge man was now a pile of ashes and gold on the ground.
A breath of relief escaped all the campers. A breath they did not know they were holding in. The tenseness from their shoulders dissipated and their bodies slumped.
Seeing the threat gone, simultaneously, all cheered, happy to have survived the soon apocalypse. But the merry mood was abruptly stopped when they saw the unconscious body of the commander topple over from the big house.
