Today I graduate with all of my friends. This is a day I've thought about so many times. There were times that I couldn't wait for this day to arrive, and there were other times I didn't think I would make it this far. But luckily, I had friends and family members who helped me keep going. Oh! Also, Kevin, Cheryl, Archie, and Veronica are all joining the serpents tonight but I'm not. I don't think I'm ready yet, and they all support that. At first, I didn't like that the boys would get beat up and the girls would have to strip. But, then Jughead told me he changed the rules when he became king and the serpents just have to vote if they think the person should join or not. Well, I have to go get ready to graduate!
We all agreed to get ready at my house and then ride to graduation in Veronica's limo together. I had written my speech with the help of Jughead. But, I snuck in some parts without him knowing that I was excited to share.
"Betty! Your friends are here!" My mom yelled from downstairs. "Can you just send them up?!" I yelled back. Soon I heard the footsteps of Cheryl, Toni, Veronica, and Kevin.
"Okay, so the game plan is we go and graduate and then we go have a nice dinner just us kids and then we can go to the Wyrm and party all night." Veronica said.
"Betty are you nervous for your speech?" Toni asked me as we all finished our makeup.
"A little bit."
"Why?! I'm sure it'll be great. Especially because Jughead helped you." Cheryl said.
"Well, I might have secretly added in a few things Jughead doesn't know about." I said smirking.
"Well, I'm excited to hear it! But, we have to get dressed now!" Toni said.
Toni changed first and came out in a short black dress with a low V-neck cut out.
