Mo Guan Shan felt relief. He's practical. And this is a luxurious escape. After his hospital stay, he was brought to a big cliche villa on top of a cliche plateau overlooking the dazzling blue sea. He had no idea where they were because he was blindfolded, during the whole trip. Even when he refused it, the guards strapped him on a wheelchair. As if he's planning to escape.

Life is not appealing to him at all. A trash like him is better of like this, whatever this might lead into. He'll let this person use him all he want until he's done and finally throws him away to die. Or he'll be thankful if they do the trouble of disposing off him.

He's never seen the boy after that one time they met each other.  And now he's here, standing at the edge of the cliff while blowing smoke against the strong wind.

"Huh. So you're the boss.  Must be nice. Being filthy rich," Mo Guan Shan said when the guards left. The boy smiled at him like he's an idiot.

"I bought you, so you better talk like you owe me."

Mo Guan Shan didn't answer. He's too tired to think of a good reply.

"You're supposed to be dead, so I can do whatever I want with you."

"Are you some kind of a pervert? You're a sadist or something?"

"Like Christian Gray? Come on. That's just insulting. I am just a normal person who likes to fuck."

"I bet you fapped to my video. That's just pathetic," Mo Guan Shan said drily, avoiding eye contact. The guy's stare is just too much for him to take in.

"I did. It felt awesome. That's the reason for this. Let's just say I want to taste the real thing."

"Pathetic."

"Why? A lot of people would want to fuck you too. But they're just poor, or they're not fast nor bold enough to do what I did."

"Or incredibly dumb," Mo Guan Shan muttered under his breath. He smelt cigarette smoke wafting towards his face making him dizzy all of a sudden. It's reminding him of She Li and death.

"You look like you need to sleep. Find any room you like. Choose any room you want, you can have it."

With that, the boy retreated towards the house. He stared at his broad back before running back to the cliff where the other stood and jumped off.

When he hit the water, Mo Guan Shan felt like his head and his insides were going to explode. He inhaled, sending painful shocks in his lungs as cold seawater rushed through his nose.

His body betrayed his mind by kicking into his survival instincts and his arms flailed around in search for something to cling on to.

Then there was a splash before he felt himself being dragged upwards. When his face felt air he gasped and almost cried out in pain if not for the wave knocking him back to the water. He can't remember how many times he swallowed seawater until he was finally dragged into nothingness.

He woke up flailing and screaming but his voice sounded like a hoarse whisper in his head. He'd lost count how many times he woke up in a bed decorated with tubes and weird paraphernalias.

"I'm not gonna go broke even if you plan to live in a hospital," the black-haired guy said and he almost died in surprise. Mo Guan Shan gently turned his head to the side and he was there, sitting with a leg over the other.

The oxygen mask is real inconvenient so he was about to complain but nothing came out from his mouth.

"Your voice will come back, little mermaid princess," the guy said again. "You may have damaged your neck when you jumped and when you woke up you were screaming like a banshee. You know, for someone as suicidal as you, you scream for help really well."

Mo Guan Shan turned his face to the other side to rid himself of the irritating sight, looking at him like he's worse than a piece of shit.

He heard the boy stand up so he thought he's going to leave him alone but then he leaned over and kissed him on the forehead.

"Get well fast. Then I'll take you out of here."
