Soobin grabbed his blazer from the wardrobe. He wipe some dust and stare at it. He walked to the enormous mirror and look at his own reflection while wearing the blazer. He fixed his hair and tie.
"Soobin! They're here!", he heard a voice from downstairs. He sighed and looked at himself again at the mirror. Making everything looked perfect before he left his room. He look for his parents at the dining room but they weren't there. Then he realized that they're outside.
When he about to take his seat, he saw Mr. and Mrs. Choi already there talking to his parents. Probably some business shit, he don't mind at all. But the girl in front of him caught his eyes. He looked at her full of hate, but he lied if he didn't admit that she's so gorgeous in her red dress.

Lia didn't bother to look at him a little bit. She knows that he hate seeing her here, just like her. Not that she hates him, she hates being there while Soobin hating on her too.
"Oh, Soobin already here? How are you boi?", Mr. Choi, Lia's father asked. Soobin smile and bow a bit. "Sorry I was late. I'm good. How about you?". Mr. Choi giggled. "Good Good. Oh my, you grew up handsomely". Soobin again smile shyly.
Lia saw Soobin wasn't looking at her and took this chance and steal a glance at him. 'Gosh, I never imagine he could be this attractive and good looking'. While she's staring, Soobin looks at her and she avoid him.

'I wasn't doing anything and you already staring at me. Homegirl try not to be obvious challenge, failed miserably'.
"How's school Soobin?", Mrs. Choi asked him. Soobin put down his chopstick and wipe his mouth. "I'm doing just great, thankfully". They just nodded. Like usually, Lia won't talk at all. She's not the friendly type who talks everytime. Soobin's mom noticed her and give her some pasta, her favourite.
Lia shocked and stuttered. She bows a bit. "Thank you maam". Soobin's mother chuckled. "Just called me Mom, sweetheart. You must get used to that". Lia's eyes widened and she looked at Soobin. He got choked and cough a few times. He grabbed some water and drink it.
Lia rolled her eyes. 'Bruh you really hate me that much'. She got caught off guard by Soobin's mother. "How's Soobin and you at school? Do you guys get along well?".
Soobin steal a glance at Lia and continue eating his food. Lia gulped. She remember that time.
"Stop pretending to be nice and just be the bitch you always are. What a bother"
"Lia?", Soobin's mother called her when she's day dreaming. Lia blink a few times and looked at her. "Yes we did. We get along quite well". She can feel her heart aching while saying that.
"Good for you guys. We probably gonna hold your engagement next year", said Soobin's father which made both of them startled. Soobin turns to his father. "Dad!". His father gave him a death glare which make him stop.

Lia was sitting alone near the small pond. She can't stop thinking about what Soobin's father said. Her thoughts went so far that she didn't realize that Soobin was sitting beside her.
Soobin cough a bit and Lia was shocked to see Soobin's there. She looked around and stand up. "I'll excuse myself". Soobin looked at her. "Just sit. I won't bother you".
Lia turns back and sit again. She looked at Soobin's side profile and looked at the sky. "I'm sorry.. ", Lia apologized while playing with her fingers. He must feel annoyed about his father.
"Your apologize won't do anything", Soobin said coldly. He didn't even look at her. "At least you know that I do feel bad about it-".
"About what?", Soobin cut her words. "About we're getting married?". Both of them stay silent. That is an awkward topic to say the least.
"Honestly, I don't know. What are they thinking? Money and that fucking company? Do money keep them alive? Will they die without it?", Soobin started nagging. He felt burdened by this forced marriage that he only sees in dramas. It'll happen to him.
"Hey don't talk like that about your parents. They worked hard for it". Lia try to talk to him. She doesn't want this either, being forced what to do.
Soobin scoffed. "Then work for it! Don't involve your son into this". Lia was out of words. "We'll figure this out". Soobin looked at her. He doesn't know if she really means it. But if he want to marry a girl, he doesn't want it to be her. She'll be never be his choice.
Unlike Lia, it's actually her chance to get what she always wants. Her first love. But she doesn't want it to be like this, in the state of him hating on her. She just want him naturally falls for her, by his heart, by his choice, not by force. But she knows that Soobin really hates her.
It was her fault though. She choose herself to be a different person at school. She choose to be the Julia that everyone hates, including him. But does she have any other choices?
