*There will be some POV switches in this chapter hopefully, it's not too confusing cuties*

BLAKE'S POV

"What are you going on about old man?" Greyson questioned as he watched Victor with a confused gaze. Even though Victor didn't say it fully I understood exactly what he meant.

My heart ached at the thought of never once seeing Victoria on the day she was supposed to die. Sure I knew the day would come, but I kept hoping that maybe...just maybe there was another way around it. That by some miracle we would be able to change her destiny and create a new future.

A future where we could be together.

Victor opened his mouth to scold Greyson but Victoria beat him to it, " The dreams...Blake and Eddie had will happen if they try to interfere with the day I'm destined to die."

"Oh.," Greyson muttered as he glanced at Eddie and I, with an almost sad expression. Victoria's eyes flashed multiple different colors as she went through multiple different emotions. But the one that stuck out the most was sadness.

Uncle Victor was the first one to break the uncomfortable silence in the room, "I'm sorry it had to be this way kiddos, but that doesn't mean your time together is over right now. Spend as much time with each other, make those little moments count."

Eddie shook his head as he stood up from the table. Bradlee looked at him with an anxious expression as Eddie's face reddened  with anger.

"You can't tell me that this is it! That we are supposed to just accept the fact that the future is the future. Victoria is our friend, we want to be with her any way we can on that day. The future isn't set in stone, it's meant to be changed."

Everyone watched in shock at Eddie's sudden outburst. Bradlee shook his head as he reached for Eddie's arm.

"Are you seriously trying to fight this right now. Edward, you died in your dream. The future isn't something you just get up and say you're going to change. Sure we can try another way, but who's to say that the outcome won't be the same in the end!"

Eddie opened his mouth to protest, but Greyson gave him a look that caused him to stop. Instead, Uncle Victor began to speak, "Bradlee is right Eddie...the future isn't trial and error. You can't just go back and try again. Once it happens it's done, there is nothing you can do about it."

"But.."

"No, buts Edward we aren't putting your life up for debate." Bradlee interrupted immediately. Eddie grumbled under his breath before walking out of the dining room. Bradlee called after him, but he ignored him.

"Well...go after him," Greyson demanded, Bradlee nodded and ran out of the dining room calling for Eddie. Victoria, Greyson, Victor, and I sat there all in our own world. I wanted so badly to say something, but everything that came to mind just didn't feel right.

I wanted to agree with Eddie, yell, fight this, but I couldn't, because for some odd reason the one time I needed to speak...

I couldn't find the right words.
