BLAKE'S POV

4 WEEKS LATER

I stared at my reflection as I fixed my graduation cap. A small smile came to my face as I thought about everything that had happened over the past year. Life is unpredictable, you just had to go with the ups and the downs.

Live in the moment.

A knock on my door pulled me out of my thoughts, I turned around making eye contact with Eddie.

"It's graduation day!!" Eddie stated as he waved his hands around. I nodded my head gently, taking in his similar white robe.

"It is isn't it."

"I can't believe it's over."

I let out a laugh, "It went by so fast."

"A little too fast for my liking."

No matter how much I hated to believe it, standing in my room with Eddie made me realize that I wouldn't change anything that happened. It helped all of us -in more ways than one- to grow and find ourselves.

It was scary knowing that this was the beginning of the rest of our lives. But I couldn't help, but feel prepared for what came next because I knew that no matter what happened to us we'd always be there for each other.

Forever together.

"Are you ready to walk across the stage one last time?" Eddie questioned as we began to make our way downstairs.

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be."

Eddie, Greyson, Sophia, and I sat in a row together trying our best to pay attention to the ceremony. Who was I kidding, we weren't trying to pay attention at all. Instead, we were sitting there playing thumb wars.

Sophia didn't talk to us for a week after prom and I doubt she would have talked to us if it weren't for Bradlee. We don't know what he said to her, but the next thing we knew she was pulling us into hugs, begging for us to take her back.

I looked over at Greyson who winked when the Principal called his name through the mic. Sophia who was next began to fix her robe as she waited for her name to be called. Greyson walked up to the stage and grabbed his diploma.

A few gasps could be heard from the crowd when he took the mic from the principal's hand. "I just want to say thank you to all the teachers who decided to not fail me even though we all knew I deserved it. Yeah....that's about it."

The principal went to grab the mic, but Greyson stopped him once more, "Oh...also umm I LOVE YOU MY HOMIES....INCLUDING SOPHIA!!! THIS ONE IS FOR YOU GUYS! Okay, now I'm done."

Whistles and cheers rang through the room as a bunch of boys and girls applauded as Greyson walked off the stage. The principal rolled his but began to clap as well.

"Sophia Easton!"

Loud applause filled the room as Sophia skipped onto the stage. She struck a pose causing the boys in the room to roar with admiration. "Okay...I have one thing to say and I know you all are thinking it's going to be such an inspirational saying and it is.....FUCK SCHOOL!"

I stood up immediately, giving her a standing ovation. "EXACTLY!" I yelled out causing my parents to look over at me with a glare. The principal ushered Sophia off the stage, his face red with embarrassment.

"Edward Bishop....and I hope you are calmer than your little friends."

Eddie let out a laugh as he walked onto the stage, the room wild with cheers. Eddie grabbed his diploma and took the mic, but was stopped when a loud voice interrupted him.

"I LOVE YOU EDWARD!!! I AM SO FREAKING PROUD OF YOU!!" Eddie's face went red as he looked over at a smiling Bradlee.

"I love you too!" Eddie yelled back causing the room to fill with awes. The principal wiped the sweat from his brow as Eddie handed him back the mic.

"Okay...the last one....Blake Hill!!"

"YESSSS. BLAKE!!!" Eddie yelled as he got back to his seat. I rolled my eyes as I walked on to the stage. Loud cheers were scattered all around the room as I grabbed my diploma.

"You guys know I'm not good with words, but I need to give a huge thanks for Google who helped me through high school." The student body erupted in cheers causing me to smile, "I love you guys or whatever sappy shit I'm supposed to say. Thank you guys for making this a great year...even you Mr. Ross."

Mr. Ross rolled his eyes, but I could see the small smile on his face. "You guys all shaped me to be who I am today and for that, I will be forever grateful for all of you. Highschool, no matter how terrible it can be at times....is our lives, and its what we make of it that makes it memorable. So thank you to the class of 2020 for making my high school experience the best one I could ask for. But I owe the biggest thank you to Victoria."

I paused when I noticed Victoria standing in the middle of the room, her parents standing beside her. I knew she wasn't actually there, but rather her spirit. It was more than enough for me.

"John F. Kennedy once said that we must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives. And she made a huge one in my life. So thank you Victoria for letting me be a part of your journey. Thank you for being the reason I smile. I love you."

I looked at Victoria a large smile on my face, she sent me a wink as her parents waved to me.

"Even though we are leaving behind something that played such a prominent role in our lives....it doesn't mean we are leaving the memories behind. Willow Creek High School will always be in our hearts. So....congratulations to the class of 2020. We fucking did it!!!!"

The entire room roared with cheers and people got to their feet, clapping, and screaming. My eyes trailed around the room making eye contact with my family and friends. Finally, my eyes set on Victoria. She was smiling and clapping as she watched me.

'I love you' she mouthed as she began to disappear.

"I love you too," I whispered back.

Even after all of this...I knew everything was going to be okay. We were all going to be okay.

So, guys, it's over!!! It's bittersweet *cries*

Thank you all for everything. I started writing this story last year and stopped after chapter two because I got lazy, but then quarantine happened and I decided to pick up the book again and I don't regret it one bit. I had some times where I wanted to give up and quit but @luv_jap, @kaylakiksbutt, and @sophia_karina helped we get through it. Another thing is the amount of support I've gotten....it's unbelievable and I wish I could thank every one of you personally. I love you guys so much!!! Like I need you guys to know that haha.

Anyways....expect more stories from me coming soon, Control X is out if you want to read that. I was going to make a sequel to this book, but I just love it exactly how it is now and I don't want to ruin that.

Maybe I'll do a sequel in the future!
