Sitting at the edge of the bed, I looked around the huge hotel room, feeling worse and worse by the second.

It'd been a little over a couple hours since Dominic and I got into it. He'd ending up apologizing to my mother on the way over here while I continued to feel bad about my choice of words. I knew I shouldn't have gone that far with him.

"Your water ready, T." He said coming out of the bathroom before plopping down onto the bed.

I sat there a while as he scrolled his phone and I couldn't help but to apologize again for the hundredth time.

"Babe, I'm sorry." I went on to say.

"I didn't mean it the way that I said it."

"Aight, T." Was all he said as he continued to scroll his phone. He was pretending as if this wasn't even affecting him but I knew my boyfriend, he was so hurt on the inside.

"Gon' head and get in the bubble bath before it get cold." He told me, making me look toward the bathroom.

"Can you get in with me?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Na'.." He trailed off, making me sigh.

"Please, babe?"

"Na' ma. I'm good." He went on, rejecting my offer.

Saying nothing else, I slowly stood to my feet and limped toward the bathroom. The bathroom wasn't far but it was far enough for my leg to begin to ache.

"I need this." I said, looking down at the bubble bath he'd just prepared for me.

Standing there, I began to slowly remove my clothes, the best way that I could. I didn't want to bother Dom anymore tonight with my problems and my annoyance so I was trying my best.

Finally getting everything off, I placed one foot instantly feeling relief.

"Mm." I moaned, getting all the way in and relaxing my muscles. The water was boiling hot, just the way I liked it.

Sitting there for a while, I couldn't take my mind off of Dom. I just wanted to so badly make him feel better.

"Babe." I called softly from the tub, hoping he'd hear me.

"Babe!" I called again before the door opened and he walked in with a blunt in between his fingers.

"What's up?" He spoke in an unenthusiastic tone.

"Can you sit in here with me, please? You don't have to get in, I just want to talk." I admitted and he sighed deeply.

"Aight, T." He finally gave in and I couldn't help but to get excited inside.

"Let me finish smokin' then I'a be in here." He said and I nodded slowly, watching as he left back out and closed the door behind him.

I waited patiently for him, getting my thoughts and words together. I needed to explain myself so he could know where I was coming from and make sure he knew that I loved him. I would never intentionally hurt his feelings.

After about ten minutes, like promised, he came back into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He didn't say anything as he sat down on top of the toilet, scrolling his phone.

"Baby." I called and he slowly looked up from his phone.

"Can you put your phone down for a second? I need to talk to you." I spoke softly, trying to keep my tone in check, I needed him to know that I was being sincere.
