Naglalakad kami sa lounge at may hawak ako ngayong bottled water dahil nauhaw talaga ako sa panunuod.
" I dont know. Some punk dudes "
Napabuntong hininga ako at huminto sa isang tabi at sumandal.
" I told you to say no. Hey, what will happen if you lose ? Jared, you're not answering me. What are those chips ? If you dont have those chips then whats the purpose of the game ? Yung pustahan ba yun ? So anong pustahan dun ? "
He puts his hand inside his pockets and just smiled at it.
" Its done. I won. No need for scolding me about it. Come on, lilibre mo pa ko. "
" what ? you really want to get into trouble arent you ? "
" come on they got live band "
Napatingin ako dun sa bar at mukang nagkakagulo dun. Naglakad kami papunta dun at naupo kami sa stool bar.
" just one beer " he said smiling.
I took my card and my phone. Nilapag nung bartender yung bote ng beer niya at binigay ko yung card ko. I checked my phone too for the time. It's 9:03 pm.
" Jared I need to go back before 10. "
He looked at his wristwatch too and nodded.
" 40 minutes. "
" hindi mo inadjust yan ? " tanong ko sa kanya.
Umiling siya tsaka sinimulan yung beer niya. Meanwhile, the crowd screamed when a group of men climb up the stage.
Naningkit ang mata ko na para bang kinikilala yung banda. Unti-unti akong napatayo nang makilala ko ang mga ito.
Then as the man finally spoke on the microphone, I couldnt be more happier in my entire life.
" good evening ladies and gentleman, we're the- "
" STRANGERS STRINGS ... oh my gosh- is that- oh IS THAT THEM ? "
We are both surprised when I grabbed his clothes because of my excitement. Napabitaw ako agad at ngumiti.
" do you know them too ? " tanong niya agad.
Dont tell me he dont know this band. Oh my freaking goodness. Is this a dream ? A dream come true..
" Jared did you know the band ? "
" yeah sikat nga sila "
" did you know they were performing tonight ? "
" No. Napansin ko lang na pinagkakaguluhan na sila kanina. This is a surprise though. "
