We resume with classes by Monday. May binigyan na ng report sa klase namin at kasalukuyan na nga nag rereport si Rayver sa harap. Tawa ng tawa yung mga tropa niya dito sa likod at dini distract siya. The subject is history.
Rayver discussed something about the holocaust. A horrifying event that took place during world war II. May mga picture siyang ipinakita sa presentation niya. I was silent and shocked. I've read about some of this but my classmate discusses new information which made it more unsettling. Thousand of lives was lost in a concentration camp. Soldiers sacrificing their lives to fight the war.
Is this what makes us human ?
When did human race embrace cruelty and violence ? Why are we destroying ourselves ?
This got me so upset at the end of the class. Pero mukang ako lang ang nakakaramdam ng ganito dahil nang matapos ang presentation ni Rayver at nag dismiss na ang aming professor, kanya-kanya na silang pag-iinat.
I put my notes back on my bag and checked my phone.
" guys nag send na si coach Donny ng sched. We got first game this friday. "
Si Bridgette ang unang nakatanggap ng sched na galing kay coach Donny then hinintay na lang namin yung amin.
I checked it too at sa Friday na nga ang unang game namin. Coach Donny also informed us for our first practice tomorrow.
I browse down our whole schedule for the complete qualifying rounds. May laro kami this week. The next week meron din, sa Wednesday naman. The sa third week Tuesday and Sunday ang laro. Wow, so this is it. The life of a student athlete. I hope I can do it.
Tumambay muna kami sa school grounds dahil mamaya pa ang next subject. Oo nga pala, ngayong Wednesday na ang election for Student council committee. Ngayon ko nga napagtanto na sikat pala talaga yun si Purnell. Aside from being the third child of Metropolitan secretary of defense, he is well known for his looks too. Kaya pala mabenta talaga siya sa mga babae dito sa DSU. Pero meron naman pala talagang ipagmamalaki.
Nagtapos pala siya ng Valedictorian nung high school and he is currently taking political science. Alam na alam mo talagang naka destino sa pulitika.
May kaya naman pala talagang patunayan. Hindi lang kasi ako kumbinsido nuong una dahil sa inakto niya. But Tiana said the guy is just naturally goofy and confident.
" so sino palang kalaban natin sa Friday ? " tanong ni Tiana habang kumakain ng popsicle.

Schools have really cool names. Gotta watch out for the other.
I took another bite on my doughnut and watch DSU soccer peeps do their trainings at the field. I was about to get another one when Bridgette tapped my hand.

" sumbong mo kay coach hahaha " Jamie commented too then smiled at me.
Natawa na lang din ako. Pang apat na pala to. How come ?

I rested my back and drank from my tumbler then peeked on my phone. Wala bang klase to at nakakapag text pa ?
