Few days before the deadline of enrollment period, dun pa lang kami nakapag enroll.
I got my receipt and my enrollment forms. Kakatapos ko lang at sa wakas nakapag enroll din. I'm officially a first year student. Wow.
Ang kasama ko ngayon ay mga ka department ko. Si Bridgette, Tiana, Jamie and Carlie. Nauna ng nagpa enroll sila Ale dahil by department ang enrollment. Last na ata ang SMP sa schedule. Ako na lang ang hinihintay nila. Since sabay sabay kami nagpa enroll at may available pang slots sa block C duon na kami napunta.
Magkakaklase kaming apat for this semester. 1st year SMP marines Block C. Si Carlie naman is 1st year SMP navy Block B.
So August 4 marks the first day of school. Sobrang excited kaming lahat. We gathered at the DSU quadrangle early this morning for an annual greetings and welcoming speech of DSU president Mr. Toran F. Qualtz, together with the board of trustees, the faculty members and DSU staffs.
After lunch, duon na kami nagpunta sa mga respective rooms for the current subject. Hindi namin na meet ang first subject namin this morning. Maybe tomorrow. The subject right now is Algebra 1. Actually, in SMP course we are focusing more on laws. Criminal law military law, constitutional law and similar stuff. Pero dahil freshman year pa lang naman we got Algebra 1, General Science, Social Studies and History then Literature. We got two majors which is Metropolitan city ordinances and DATFU guidelines and Policies. That will be our subjects for the whole semester.
There are monitors and speakers installed in every rooms. DSU is fully equipped with every educational medium it can use.
Bukas pa daw ma iissue sa amin ang uniform namin. I'm excited to have it though.
Wala pa ang professor kaya maingay ngayon dito at kanya-kanyang mga tropa na. We got few friends here too. Halo naman kasi dito at mababait naman ang mga kaklase namin. The boys are a little mess but all of us have greeted each other. Some of my classmates are already familiar to me dahil taga camp B din ang ilan sa kanila.
" no one teaches their subject on first day of classes. Come on, parang di kayo galing ng high school "
Bagot na bagot si Tiana at panay lang ang picture. Ganun pala yun ? Kaya pala 30 minutes na wala pa ang professor namin. So the first day of classes just always goes like this ? Well, I never went to high school, so how would I know. Kaya lang naman ako may alam ngayon is because of the books that I read for two years during my stay on the asylum. I read academic books and learned the basics. Thats why I'm here in college. I want to learn more and also to experience what its like having a teacher.
Pero dahil nga wala daw nagtuturo ng first day of classes, I never meet any of my professors today. Nag announce lang ang admin sa room namin. Through those speakers installed, they informed us that the professors are still busy cleaning their schedules.
Good afternoon SMP 1 marines Block C, Mr. Arthur Ragodon of Social Studies will be conducting his classes on Wednesday as per his email today received at 11:09 this morning. Classes is dismissed. Have a nice day ahead Red Dragons.
So whenever there is announcement or paging something or someone, the admin announces it and it will be heard through the speakers installed on every rooms.
Kung wala palang mga subject ngayon edi pwede ng umuwi ? What a nice first day of classes. Mamaya pang 4 pm ang klase sa Social studies at last subject na yun pero dahil wala daw si sir Ragodon, I guess its time to go home.
We are actually preparing for the try out to be conducted next week. Kailangan nasa kundisyon kami. We need to take a rest habang wala pang pinapagawa.
