Chapter 5: Sweet Everlasting Memories

"Yes! A million times Yes!" Those words kept ringing in my ears as I smiled reminiscing the last conversation I had with Landon. After spending a romantic evening by his side. We both agreed to not see each other until the night we would runaway together and get married. Two days had gone by and I missed him like crazy. The only thing I had to look forward too was that I would finally be able to spend every day by his side without worry or afraid that my family would interfere. Once married to him there was nothing nor anyone that would be able to separate us. I was going to be his forever and he was going to be mine as well. I couldn't wait.

My family had organized a special dinner with Cedric and his Father. I was in my room getting ready while humming to a sweet tune. Nothing was going to ruin my excitement not even the arrogant asshole of Cedric. Suddenly a tapping noise by my window caught my attention. I peeked my head out and saw Landon waving his arm indicating for me to go over to him. Seeing him excited me but also alarmed me. I didn't want anyone else to see him so I rushed outside while avoiding to be seen.

"Landon! What are you doing here!?"

"Shh come with me real quick"

"Where?"

"Not too far from here just come"

"But I can't babe..I got some stupid dinner to attend too.."

"I swear it won't take long just come with me"

"Promise?"

"Haha I promise"

He gave me a sexy smirk as I bit my bottom lip wanting to kiss him badly. So I agreed to go with him and discreetly left my house. After running for a few minutes we finally came to a stop near a lake. "What is this?" I asked as I saw him pull a rope that was attached to a small boat. He stepped inside it and reached out for my hand. While carefully joining him I couldn't help but wonder just where he was taking me. I would've asked but I had a feeling he wouldn't tell me either way. We spent a couple minutes without talking. I silently gazed at him checking out every flex his body made as he continued to row.

Fresh wind blew his dark chestnut hair smoothly back exposing his sweet honey brown eyes. The light facial hair surrounding his rosy soft lips made him look even sexier. I couldn't contain myself after not seeing him for two whole days my body insanely craved his touch. So I gently stood up and slowly sat down in between his legs. While leaning against him he kissed my head and said "We're almost there baby". I smiled and closed my eyes. In that moment I wanted the time to stop. If only I was able to make that happen. All I wished for was to be by Landons side just the way I was now. With no worry or afraid someone would see us. Nothing else surrounding us but pure nature. A world where only Landon and I existed..how lovely that would be. If only.

"Baby wake up we're here"

"Omg Landon it's beautiful!"

"I thought you'd like it"

"But how were you able to afford renting this cabin?"

"Deven helped me out.."

"Deven did this?"

"Well I guess he doesn't hate you after all"

I smiled at him as he pulled the small boat onto the ground. "Landon I can't stay though" I said with a worried expression on my face. I didn't want to upset him but I also knew that it was impossible for me to miss that important dinner with the Wesleys. Slowly approaching me he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in for a hug. By my ear he whispered "Help me make this night special. One we will never forget. Stay with me". How could I possibly deny the guy that I love such a tempting request.

I gave him a smile and replied "Let's make time stop". He suddenly picked me up and carried me over to the cabin. Once inside he put me down as I took a look around. There was fresh berries and watermelon served on platters. Also a champagne bottle with two glasses next to it on a small wooden table. In the middle there was a beautiful red rose as I leaned over to smell it, Landon suddenly picked it up and gave it to me. "You did all this for me?" I cheerfully asked. He replied by giving me a soft peck on the lips.

"What's so special about today?"

"Sit down I'll tell you"

We both took a seat as he popped the bottle open and served me on my glass. I raised an eyebrow of suspicion as he poured some in his glass as well. He was definitely acting a bit suspicious. I mean what exactly were we celebrating? Not being able to wait any longer I asked again "So what is it??". He gave me a smile and stood up. "On behalf of Mr. & Mrs. Roman. I want to thank everyone who came today to witness such a memorable one of a kind love ceremony. Today I finally made the most beautiful sexy and crazy girl I had ever met my wife. She will forever be mine now and nothing nor anyone will change that. If I had a chance to do this all over again I would do it with no doubt in my mind. Cause I know with all certainty that Jade Roman is and will always be the love of my life".

Tears began running down my face as he looked down at me and smiled. "That and more will be what I'll say when I make you my wife". He got down on one knee and took out of his pocket a silver ring with our initials engraved on it. While putting it on my finger as I continued to weep like a baby without her bottle he said "I know you had said yes already but this time I want there to be a symbol of that Yes you gave me. Now every time you look at your hand you'll see this ring and by it you'll see our future together baby". I launched myself at him throwing both of our bodies onto the ground.

"I love you I love you I love you!!"

"Haha I love you too babe"

I gave him sweet kisses all around his face and neck. I didn't know how else to express just how much I really loved him and how deep his loving words touched me.
