The beautiful sunset glistened upon the ocean giving it a gold reflection that was truly mesmerizing. I shivered as I felt the cold breeze brush across my entire body. A month had passed by and since my arrival to one of Cedrics private Islands I had not once seen him. The last time I spoke to him (If I Can even call it that) I screamed at him that I didn't want to see him at all. He hadn't kept his word and brought me to an Island away from my loved ones. I didn't even get to say goodbye to my Father.
That was something I wasn't going to easily forgive him for. Even if his intention was in the right place I didn't care. In his mind I wasn't safe out there and until he found out who had tried against his life I wouldn't go back. So in return he gave me an entire month of solitude. Of course besides his men watching my every move, I at least didn't have to deal with seeing him around me.
The waves slowly rolled back into the ocean as I watched in deep thought. No matter how many times I tried not to think of Landon. Memories of him always appeared everywhere I looked. I grabbed a small stick that laid beside me and began to trace our initials on the sand. Smiling as I made a heart around the letters, echoes of our voices filled the air.
"Landon look! Didn't it come out nice?"
"Haha baby why did you do it so close to the water? It's gonna wash away"
"Omg there comes a wave! Hurry help me block the water from it!"
"What? That's impossible!"
"Landon hurry!! Let's make the sand high enough so it won't wash my declaration away!"
The wave suddenly hit us and the entire sentence I had written on the sand washed away. (I will love you forever) was no longer in sight. Disappointed I sat on the sand while Landon followed.
"Oh cmon baby I got to see what you wrote"
"But I wanted it to stay"
"We can write it again"
"It's not the same..."
"Why isn't it the same? Or what you don't feel the same way now??"
"Don't be silly! It was just that..Ugh never mind forget it"
"Haha tell me!"
"You're gonna laugh at me! See you're already laughing!"
"Okay okay..I promise you that I won't laugh"

I noticed he was trying so hard not to laugh but couldn't help it. So he let out a loud chuckle as I immediately stood up. "Ay! Wait! I was just joking baby!" He said with a smile on his face as he pulled me back to the sand. "You're being so annoying!" "Ouch that hurt you know?". He turned to the side and pretended to be upset. There was a brief silence between us then he suddenly got up and began to walk towards the water.
