"JADE!"
I immediately opened my eyes and saw Cedric sitting beside me. "Ugh what are you doing here!" I said as I scooted away from him. He placed a small table near me with food on-top. "You need to eat something. You've been out cold for an entire day". I turned my look away from him and decided to ignore him instead. "I had a doctor check you he says you fainted because you're not eating well. So from now on if you don't want problems with me you better eat".
As if he was really worried about me. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle as he gave me a fiery stare. "If you really cared about my wellbeing you'd let me go back to my Family". "Your place is with me now. Wherever I go you go simple as that". How I hated when he ordered me around. What did he think? That I was going to just do whatever he said each time he snapped his fingers. I wasn't his puppet or a dog that he could order around and I would simply obey.
"Go to hell and take your food with you!!" I angrily shouted as I grabbed the plate and threw it on him. He quickly stood up and stripped off his shirt. I noticed a bit late that the soup that had been inside the plate was actually hot. If looks could kill I'd be so dead as he shot me a raging stare. "You're going to regret doing that" "I'm not scared of you!" "Well you should be! I will make you respect me even if I have to beat you until you do". I had a frightening feeling that I was really going to regret what I did.
"Cedric stop it! Let go off me!" I shouted as he pulled me towards the bed. I began to panic last thing I wanted was to have forced sex with him again. I couldn't experience that terrifying feeling again. So I tried to pull away from his tough grip but given the weak state I found myself in. It was nearly impossible. He grabbed his tie and aggressively tied my hands behind my back. "What the hell are you doing you asshole!". Ignoring me he laid me on his lap and pulled my pants down. "Stop it! Stop!" I felt like I was going to have a nervous breakdown not knowing what to expect from him.
Suddenly he began to slap my ass constantly. Hitting me harder after each slap. "You're a sick bastard! It provokes you deep pleasure to see me in pain doesn't it!" I shouted as he continued to roughly slap me. "Keep talking. I have a lot of ways to educate you that you won't like but I know I'll enjoy". I decided to keep my mouth shut hoping he would stop. However he only kept going until I was no longer able to feel my ass.
He picked me up and viscously threw me on the bed. Immediately untying my hands I slapped him across the face the second he got close to me. I quickly grabbed a night lamp that was near the bed and threw it at him. Aiming straight on his head and knocking him down, I took the opportunity and left running out of the room. "JADE!!!" His loud infuriating voice echoed all the way outside. I knew it was only a matter of time until he caught me but I had to try and fight him..No matter what.
I saw the ocean waves come and go with such ease that for a split second I thought about running towards them. If I drowned it wouldn't be as bad as staying by his side. "JADE DON'T MOVE!!" I turned around and saw Cedric just couple steps away from me. I must've hit him hard as fresh drops of blood dripped from the right side of his forehead onto his cheek. "Don't come near me! I won't allow you to have your way with me again you bastard!". "Okay I promise you that I won't touch you just don't move!". I couldn't believe him. After all his word meant nothing to me.
So I took a few steps back when suddenly I felt something rather scaly and warm slightly touch my feet. I turned to look and immediately froze in fear as I noticed it was a snake that was slithering it's long body around my feet. "Don't panic! Just stay still Jade". I couldn't believe my own eyes. From all the creatures that I could've come across with. It had to be precisely a snake. I felt petrified and all I could think off was how bad I wanted to runaway from it. I felt it's warm scaly body now making its way towards my thigh.
Suddenly the snake began to hiss and just like that it lifted its head ready to strike me. I closed my eyes expecting the worst but when I didn't feel the bite I opened them once again. My eyes widened in horror as I noticed the snake had attacked Cedrics forearm. Just as it was going to sink it's fangs onto my thigh. Cedric immediately put his arm on the way causing the snake to strike him instead. We watched it slither away as if nothing had happened while Cedric laid on his back holding onto his arm in pain.
"Quick go get help!" I stood still watching him endure tormenting pain as he shouted for me to move. Was I really taking into consideration letting him die? What was wrong with me? After all he took what might be a venomous bite in order to save me. Still I couldn't make myself move. I knew the right thing was to act quick and get help but all I wanted to do was watch him slowly die. Did I really hate him that much? He began to close his eyes as the size of his arm grew bigger and turned an ugly purple. I couldn't do it. No matter how much I despised him at the end of the day he was a human. I had to be completely heartless in order to watch him die and do nothing about it.
*Half Hour Later*
I waited for the Doctor to finish examining Cedric inside the bedroom. While sitting on the sofa being watched by one of his men I began to wonder. What if Cedric dies? I would regain my freedom. Was it really that bad to actually wish his death? I guess it was. Suddenly the door opened and the Doctor called me in. At first I hesitated thinking 'Why should I go in to see him?' I didn't care about him at all. However Cedric's bodyguard pulled me by the arm and towards the room. Pushing me inside he closed the door behind me.
"I know he's my husband in paper but we're not actually really married..It's all business Doctor so I don't need to know what is going on with him"
"Well as his pretend wife or not..He needs your help"
"What can I possibly help him with??"
"I took the venom out just in time but his body is growing cold..This must've been a special rare type of snake bite..Cedric's body is not responding to the medication"
"Okay? So what does this have to do with me?"
"What I am going to tell you depends on his life. You'll decide whether he lives through the night or dies..I'm afraid in his critical condition if we don't act fast he will not have too much time left"
"I'm not following Doctor..Tell me what is it exactly that he needs from me?"
"Your body heat"
"He needs me to hug him??"
"Um not quite..His body temperature is dropping rapidly a simple hug will not do. You'll need to.....Make love to him".
