After spending the rest of the evening by the seashore I decided to head back inside. It was getting chilly and I felt like I was getting sick. I walked inside the house only to immediately stop in shock as I noticed everything was a complete wreck. Paintings broken in half and a couple of expensive vases were all shattered across the floor. I carefully walked inside while picking up a piece of broken glass to use incase there was an attacker inside.

To my shocking surprise I saw Cedric sitting down on what seemed to be the only chair that survived a gruesome outbreak

To my shocking surprise I saw Cedric sitting down on what seemed to be the only chair that survived a gruesome outbreak. I dropped the piece of broken glass and turned to leave to my room. Whatever his deal was I didn't care. However I stopped as soon as I heard him say, "You're not even gonna pretend to be happy to see me are you?".

I rolled my eyes and sarcastically answered "Is there any camera in sight?". As I turned around once again a sudden noise of broken glass startled me. Causing me to turn to his direction. "What if it was him who waited for you to come home!?" I noticed the glass of alcohol he held in his hand was now shattered across the floor. "Would you be happy then?" He asked as he struggled to stand up.

It was clear to me that he was completely wasted. Which began to alarm me but I refused to show it. So I stood by with a smirk on my face laughing at how foolish he looked. "I didn't hear your answer Jade. Is it because you're no longer alone and you can't express your real feelings out-loud? Are you afraid of what I might say?". I continued to stay quite as I watched him tumble his way towards me.

When he had finally managed to stand before me he took a hold of my hair and pulled me closer to him. I pressed my hands against his chest trying to make room between us. Last thing I wanted was to feel his breath all over my chest nonetheless smell the strong liquor stench that he carried. "Look around you Jade. He's not here. He doesn't care about you. He never did. Otherwise he would've fought for you to stay by his side. Instead he ran from that sacred love you boast so much about".

"Are you done? I want to go to my room" I replied with an annoying tone in my voice. "Why do you hate me so much?" He asked as he cupped my face with his hands forcing me to look at him in the eyes. For some reason his eyes seemed tired and red. It must've been all the drinking he had been doing. I didn't care to know the reason all I wanted was for him to leave me alone. To disappear from my sight. I hated him so much and gosh how I wanted to scream it loud enough for him to understand.

However I knew better than to fight a drunk. So I decided to swallow my true emotions and continued to stay quite. "Why aren't you saying anything?" I turned my head to the side as he grabbed me by the arm. He then angrily shouted "I'M TALKING TO YOU!! DON'T FUCKIN IGNORE ME LIKE IF I'M NOT HERE! I'M DONE BEING INVISIBLE TO YOU!!". I pulled myself away from his grip and began to walk towards the stairs. He suddenly grabbed onto my waist and stopped me.

"Cedric that's enough! Let go!"

"Not until you tell me why you hate me so much!"

"I'm not talking to the drunk version of you! We'll talk later when you are in your five senses! Now let me go to my room!"
