(CEDRIC'S P.O.V)

I stood waiting by the dock minutes before it hit midnight. I had lost count of how many times I continued checking my watch. Waiting for these got damn minutes to pass by quicker. I wanted to see her face again. I needed to smell that familiar rose scent that filled my lungs making me feel complete. I wanted to touch her soft delicate skin again feel her body against mine as before.

"Jade...My love...Please come see me...I feel dead without you"

"Cedric"

Her sweet tender voice called out my name. I quickly turned around and saw her beautiful face again. I wanted to run to her. I felt overwhelmed with emotions seeing those glistening hazel eyes once again. Though in her eyes I saw deep pain that might be unrepairable. I hoped that wasn't the case I knew I had a lot to make up for I just wished she would give me the chance to fix my mistakes.

I wanted to say something ANYTHING...but for some reason I couldn't. I completely choked right in front of her. She had shown up when I thought she wouldn't. Once again she proved to me that she really loved me as much as I love her. How much of a fool I've been. I messed up the only got damn good thing that has happened in my entire life. Now all I could hope for was that she would put it all aside and come back to me.

She suddenly walked closer. Her hand gently caressed my face making me close my eyes embracing her soft touch. "Jade-" I managed to finally speak before she unexpectedly slapped me across the face. I looked at her while she glared back at me with tears running down her face.

Without saying a word to me she slapped me once again

Without saying a word to me she slapped me once again. Three more slaps followed right after. I let her hit me as many times as she wanted. I knew she needed to take out the pain I had caused her somehow. Even then hurting me physically was not going to be enough for her. I deserved that and more.

"How did you think I was going to react towards you Cedric? You thought I would run to your arms and hug you after everything that's happened?"

My gaze fell onto the floor as I decided not to answer. That type of reaction she spoke about was exactly what I had wanted but I knew it was farfetched. I just never imagined she would carry so much rage in her. It infuriated me to know that I was the one that caused that. It was my doing that ended what could've been so great.
