*Couple Weeks Later*
"Okay Lance and Natty make a wish before blowing the candles!"
"There! Can we blow them now? I want cake!"
"Haha okay Lance both of you in ONE...TWO..."
Before Josh got to three both Lance and Natasha blew their birthday candles out. Tears fell from my eyes feeling more joyful and thankful than ever.
My two favorite little munchkins were turning four years old. I wanted time to completely stop so I wouldn't see them grow. I wanted them both to stay young and beside me forever.
Though I knew that was impossible I was happy to see their little faces full of fascination and enjoyment of how their party was going. So many gifts everywhere and a huge jumper where they had spent most of the time.
Not to mention their own two separate round cakes. Natasha's favorite chocolate cake with sprinkles on-top and Lance's favorite mint & chip with a monster truck on-top.
We had a couple of friends over and some little young ones they had made friends with whenever we would take them to the park.
Everything seemed to be going just great until Lance went into hiding again. I decided to play along and search for him but this time I couldn't find him.
"Lea where is Peter??"
"He's inside the Jumper with the rest of the kids why?"
"I can't find Lance"
"Oh Jade you know he loves to hide"
"But it's his birthday..Why would he hide when all his friends are here playing?"
"Have you checked his room?" Josh said while serving himself a slice of cake. Lance's hiding games had become so normal for everyone that they didn't find it strange one bit. Still deep inside me I felt something wasn't right. I needed to find him.
"Mommy..."
"Not now Natasha I'm looking for your brother"
"But mommy I'm not feeling well"
"Just go sit down okay honey? I'll be back"
I turned away from her and began to walk back inside the house. Maybe there was a place where I missed to check. Not finding Lance was beginning to really scare me. Both Josh and Lea helped me while Aria stayed by Natasha unwrapping her a lollipop so she wouldn't cry.

"Natty didn't want to come"
"Why not?"
"She doesn't want to see you..She says you're a liar"
"Am I now? Why would she say that?"
"Because she says if you're really our daddy then you would live with mommy"
"You know I love you both so much right? You believe me Lance?"
"I do but she doesn't"
"She'll understand one day why I can't be with you guys..I just want you to know that I will always carry you three inside my heart..No matter where I go"
"Dad why can't I tell Mommy about you?"
"Because this is our little secret...Promise me you won't tell her"
