The next day passed very slowly. I didn't realize how bored I was, not training or going to school.

Speaking of training. A great idea just popped into my head. I jumped up from my bedroom and super sped my way downstairs. I picked up my keys and left a quick note for my parents in case they came back and didn't find me home.

Hey guys,

I'm out for a run and some 'training'. You know what I mean so figure it out. Don't worry. I'll be back soon. I can handle myself if anything happens.

Love, Car.

I locked the door and hopped into my car. Blasting the music I sang to most of the songs I knew.

Despite being kidnapped and held against my will, the facility still allowed me to watch television and listen to music. Some times they would bring truckloads of dirt into a training room and they'd let me manipulate it however I wanted. On my birthday, they gave me a cake and revealed a new power to me. My life wasn't all that bad in the facility other than not seeing my family for a year.

Yes, I said revealed. I couldn't figure out what powers I had on my own so they had to tell me. Once I knew I had them I was able to use it. I could still have some powers I didn't even know about, I just didn't know how to find them.

I pulled up to one of the cornfields that was far away from town. There was some protection from cars driving by on one side of the field which was in the centre of a box of trees, like most Canadian cornfields. I stopped my car and got out, making sure to lock it.

I made my way to the middle of the corn field and summoned my terrakinesis. I lifted my hands up and a wall of dirt rose in front of me. I laughed at the sight, twirling my hands in a complex pattern they taught me while training in the facility.

The soil swirled around me in a beautiful snake like pattern. Suddenly I pushed my hands out and the earth blasted into the ground. A kill shot, as the trainers used to call it. Bits of dirt shot up from the ground and I let them settle back into place.

I searched my mind for pyrokinesis and smiled when I felt my hands heat up. Out of no where they burst into flames. I formed balls of fire before launching then into the dirt I previously picked up. I thought the fire wasn't going to spread but it had other ideas.

The cut down corn stalks burned like old paper. I quickly use my hydrokinesis to put the flames out. The dirt was turned black form where I lit it on fire.

"Yeah, about that..." I talked to the singed dirt with an awkward 'sorry' look on my face.

Alright, that's enough for today. The dirt doesn't need to be put in anymore pain. I laughed out loud at my weird mind.

I walked my way back to my car and drove off. When I got back home my parents were still out so I crumpled the note up and went back to my room.
-------
Austin came over again and we talked some more. It was about random stuff like favourite colour or food. He asked me where I went that night of the party and I told him I ran away because I was fed up with everyone who talked down to me. He said that it shouldn't of came to running away but I brushed it off and told him it was in the past now. I also figured out that he went to our school for grade eleven and was in my grade. He looked older though.

He left around the same time as yesterday and I ate dinner without my parents. When they did come home I told them about where I went and what I did. I figured that if they were going to live around me and not faint as the sight of me than I'd better get them used to me.

Dad found it a lot more interesting than mom as I explained. He asked me if I could charge things using electrokinesis and I just laughed. I'd never tried it before but proved that I could do it when I made a dead battery work again. I thought that was so cool.

I walked up to my bedroom around nine thirty and got ready to got to bed. I could go a long time without sleep compared to a normal person but I still enjoyed getting a full night of it.
-------
I woke up in the morning to my alarm. I had gotten used to it and didn't sit up every morning like I was still in a cell.

I put on a pair of light denim shorts with fraying edges and a grey tank top with an oversized beige knit cardigan. I jumped into a pair of lace flats and put my hair in a high ponytail. Being a perfected weapon had it's pros and cons. One pro being that I didn't have any problems with my skin, so acne was no longer something I worried about. I only wore some mascara.

I got downstairs where mom was cooking blueberry pancakes. I moaned as soon as I started eating. She makes the best food. I thanked her and gave them both a quick hug and kiss before I went out the door.

I pulled into a parking space and looked for Alice's car. She drove herself today because she said she didn't want to have to walk how if I got suspended again. Jokingly of course.

I spotted her walking inside the building and I jogged to catch up. Everyone around me had their eyes on their phones. Some people were even crowding around others to see something on the screen. I frowned at their weird behaviour. What would be so important that they have to nearly jump on each other to see?

I made my way to Alice's locker and she too was on her phone.

"Why is everyone on their phones today?" I said exasperated.

"Dude, check this out! This is the most trending video on youtube!" She shoved the phone in my direction. The video had 15 million views in a matter of one day. The title was "The Real Superwoman". I paled and became nauseous when I played the video.

On the screen was me from a distance, lifting dirt into the air and spraying fire from my hands.
