"Congratulations, you've figured me out," she sneered at me.

"How could you?" I asked, my voice wavering. We had been friends for years and I find out now that she hates me?

"The day that you got back, Natalie told me what you did to her at the party. How?! You're nothing but a worthless human! How could you do something like that to her?" She actually believed the lies that Natalie fed her about me. That was probably what hurt me the most.

"I don't even want to know what she's told you. I just want you to know that it's not true and you've made a huge mistake siding with her and not me. Get out of my way and take your insults with you before you get that same thing your new best friend did," I spat at her. She huffed and tore the page off my locker. I glared holes into her back as she walked away with her nose in the air.

"I can't believe that she was so quick to go to Natalie. I thought she was my best friend, but I guess I was wrong about that too," I opened my lock and flung my locker door open, the hinges squeaking in protest to my harsh movements.

"Don't blame yourself for what happened. If anything, it's her loss. You're better than any of her so-called friends," he punched my shoulder playfully and I smiled a bit.

I guess he was right, in a way. Now I just needed her to see that she made a big mistake and when she came back asking for my forgiveness I wouldn't give it to her.

"You're right. Now we just need to make her see that. Mind if I sit with you and your friends at lunch?" I closed up my locker and went to sit on the floor. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket and began changing my contacts.

'Alice BFF' was now 'Alice EX BFF.' I deleted any pictures we had together and all the messages she had sent me. They were all lies.

"Yeah. I'm sure the guys would be fine with that," he was sitting beside me, watching me forcefully delete anything that involved Alice on my phone. It wasn't much but I didn't want to remember anything about our 'friendship'.

"Thanks. I'd rather not be the awkward one out eating like a loner," I smiled smugly when I got rid of the final thing that ever showed Alice was a friend of mine. Her last nice picture with me.

"Good riddance," I muttered under my breath. I never wanted to see another picture of her and I together ever.
-------
Alice glared at me from the other side of the room all the time in math. The teacher had to tell her to pay attention a few times. Every time I would see her staring, I'd smile like a cheerful 6 year old who couldn't have a care in the world. I think I was starting to tick her off.

We started writing the notes that were on the board down when I noticed she was writing in a metal pen. Time to have some fun...

Subtly, I lifted my hand to sit on top of the desk and opened my palm slightly. I focused on the single power and slowly balled my hand into a fist. I grinned when I heard a pop and then a scream. Mission accomplished.

"Why are you screaming like that Alice?" The teacher Ms. Kinley asked exasperated. When I looked to Alice I snickered. She had black ink all over her hand and top. Not to mention the floor and her desk. She had dropped the pen which looked like it just blew up on her and not like I'd crushed it.

"My pen just blew up on me!" She sounded like Natalie now that I thought about it. I rolled my eyes at her.

"You had to have done something to make it blow up Alice, now go to the bathrooms and grab some paper towels. You're cleaning this up even if you have to stay passed the bell," thank you Ms. Kinley!

"That's not fair!" She huffed. Yes it is, I wanted to shout but didn't.

She trudged to the bathroom but not before not-so-subtly kicking my desk.

"Thanks for noticing that my desk wasn't straight Alice," I smile innocently and I could see her jaw clench. If she was going to do this kid of childish crap, I was going to act like we were children.
-------
Unfortunately for me, Alice finished before the bell. I stood up and said goodbye to Ms. Kinley like usual. She wasn't a bad teacher by any means, she just taught one of the least preferable subjects.

When I was trying to get to my locker someone shoved me. I turned to lose it on them but stopped when I saw it was Alice. I smiled and laughed like a schoolgirl.

"Sorry! I didn't see you there Alice," she rolled her eyes in a manner that said 'how dare you peasant talk to royalty like that?', I wanted to show her how much better I was both physically and mentally then she was, but refrained from it.

I just waved and turned on the ball of my foot, going back to walking on my original path. I got to my locker without anymore problems and quickly grabbed my lunch.

I was met halfway there by a shove to my shoulder. I expected Alice and put another innocent smile on my face but laughed when I saw Austin.

"I thought you were Alice. She's been going mad all day because I'm treating her like a child," I laughed and he snickered.

"Keep that up and eventually she'll leave you alone," he nodded his head like he knew exactly how it would all play out. I shrugged.

"She acts like royalty and I'm a peasant. It's pretty sad that now she thinks that she's better than me because she has a seat with the populars," I shook my head. I'd never thought that the Alice I knew would leave me for snobby Natalie.

"That seat will probably be revoked in a short time, I can almost guarantee that," he said.

"Yeah. Probably," by now we had found the table with all his friends at it.

He sat with a group of ten guys. There was an aura of popularity around them but not the arrogant type like most.

They all smiled when they saw Austin and I approaching. The first on to speak up had light brown hair and hazel eyes.

"So we finally get to meet the infamous Charisma," he grinned at me and I fake bowed.

"Yes. The one who broke Nata-flee's nose," I quite liked that nickname. Like a flee, an insect. They all laughed at my insult and I sat down.

For the rest of lunch we talked and laughed. It was like I was joking with Mitch and his friends. I liked it better than when I talked to Alice.

"So where's the other girl? Alice, right? Your best friend?" The same guy who asked the first question had asked me. His name was David.

"Ex best friend. Turns out she was the one putting all the crap on my locker. She's hated me for a while now, and I just found out today," I rolled my eyes, something I seemed to be doing a lot lately.

"Oh. Uh, I don't really know how to deal with girl stuff. That's Austin's job," I laughed at the expression on his face.

"It's fine, actually it's better than fine. I don't care that she's left me. I've got Austin and Mitch so I have no problems with people to talk to," though I would have no problems with talking, it still hurt me knowing that she believed Natalie over me.

"And us!" A boy with red hair and brown eyes named Brady said. We all laughed and I nodded my head.

"And you guys," I added with a smile. I chose then to look over at Alice to see her jabbing Natalie to get her attention. She then proceeded to point at me, and give me the finger. She must not of seen me looking because she wouldn't of done it otherwise.

The same thing that snapped when Austin yelled yesterday snapped again and I could hear the voice whispering in my mind.

'Make her pay. Make her hurt. Make... her... suffer...' Oh. No.
